But reforming the healthcare system to make sure that families do not suffer because one member gets really sick and changing the way it is now that takes money out of our pocket to pay for emergency care (by replacing it with cheaper preventive care) sounds like a good plan by me.

I actually have read the bill thank you very much. And many of the same lies are being repeated about the current legislation.

I find that many of the critics who repeat the lies forwarded to them in emails have no idea what the bill says or else they wouldn't suggest that section 122 is a rationing of healthcare. Anyone who reads section 122 MUST acknowledge that it is a limitation of out of pocket expenses of the insured.

Page 30 says there are NO appeals and the federal gvmt decides your care. Pg 42, the Czar determines your coverage, you have no choice. Pg 50 all citizens illegal or not receive free health care! Pg 72 & 84 say all private companies must conform. Pg 94, govt will pay ACORN to sign up citizens HA. Those eligible for medicaid are forced to be enrolled. An employer making 250k or more (middle class) MUST pay additional 2-8% payroll tax if they do not participate. What did you read exactly?

The first mention of the word "appeal" is on page 37 and that describes that there ARE appeals.

Yes, private companies are required to follow INSURANCE REGULATION if they want to sell INSURANCE. This is nothing new. But Insurance companies may offer additional benefits. (page 26)

I found no mention of ACORN in the document. But I did find a mention of ACORN in the Liberty Counsel document of lies.

In the legislation an employer with a PAYROLL of 250K+ has to pay 2-8% additional tax, not income. At least the Liberty Counsel document got that right.

However, the waxman/blue dog agreement will amend the legislation to exempt all businesses with a net profit less than $500K.

I think that the language is fairly clear. You just have to do the research (like looking for the other laws that this bill amends and seeing how the wording of the amendments look around the surrounding text.

First and foremost the video describes false GOP attacks on Obama during the campaign. It is an accurate snapshot of the healthcare debate as it was.

And the VAST MAJORITY of the video is still a valid representation of the some of the GOP lies about HR 3200.

Obama did want the people to get on a plan similar to what Congress has and Congress decided to alter that portion of the plan (for whatever reason). Of course, Obama never said the plan would be exactly like the one Congressmen have.

Well, first of all small businesses are exempt under Obama's plan from providing healthcare. And many small businesses do not offer healthcare. However, if a business that does fall under Obama's requirement does not provide healthcare, they will be required to pay into the system.
