  • Looks like a sponge soaked in oil...

  • ewwwwwwwwww you put to much oil

  • I see that you like some eggs with your oil.

  • Kai Dao is fried egg, Kai Jeow is omelette.

  • OK, following your directions, it worked fantastic! I made several for breakfast guests yesterday. Now... How do I turn this into Yam Khai Dao? Or is that fried eggs? I can't remember. :)

  • Thank you for the demonstration. I just tried to make a Kai Jeow from a written description, but it didn't come out quite right. From your video it looks like I didn't use enough oil and didn't drop the egg from high enough. I'll try again soon! :)

  • I agree, but a lot of cooking oil is also left over. The idea here is to make the omelete puffy.

  • dont u think , thats too much oil ?

  • Thank you for your feedback. I love to serve this omelette with rooster sauce (Thai hot sauce) and a lot of fresh sliced cucumber with hot jasmine rice.
