I was six and an arcade in Maine had this game. We vacationed in Maine and this was THE BEST part of doing laundry (arcade was across the street). I couldn't find this game ever again and for the next 22 years I'd look for it, never to find it again. All I could remember was "command", fortunatly the Internet and KLOV helped me find it along with Youtube. I loved this game! The opening sequence was the BOMB! I could never get past NYC at age six though.
For the longest time, I was under the assumption that this was a GI Joe video game that never really took off. Notice how the guy giving the orders says "terrorist." LOL, Engrish.
I remember pumping quarters into this one at the old Supercade arcade in the old Flemington Mall in Flemington, NJ somewhere around 1985 or so..
The arcade's not there anymore (shut down around 1994 or so after nearly 20 years going back to 1975) but there's a few places where they still have it.
Great days and a great game! One of the most rousing and action filled openings to any arcade game ever!
amazing, the days when style came before technology.

LOVE the music. It just screams old-school anime goodness.

I most remember the music was rockin. The arcade I played this at had the music up really loud so the guns and sound effects were awsome.

This was the best of the laserdisc games. Classic style Toei animation, first-rate music and great sound effects.

I loved playing this game as a teenager. I wish it was available to play on PC.

Sure it was a blast to play,
but here it was excessively expensive..
i was young and cheap, and sure, i could have bought myself a bike with half that money.
