i'm saving up for a new acoustic guitar

yesterday i went into a guitar store and saw the taylor baby

i loved its size and the way it sounded, and how easy it is to carry it around

the problem is that i don't know if i should save more money for a more expensive guitar or just buy the baby, which i love

last time i rushed into purchasing a new guitar i bought a cheap telecaster instead of saving more for a better sounding one

@brandinator22 Bro, i literally bought this guitar like a week ago, It has a great sound and the action is very low set great for doing little fills...its like 3/4 size but carries 100% of the volume with the back of the body with a awesome curvature that gives it a nice rich sound. I got it to travel with and it has been worth every sent taking it from Ohio to Alaska..no 300$ guitar will give you this crisp, rich sound..you get nice case with it too...I got my 270 out the door at guitar center.

I've had the same dilemma. The problem is, you have $300 and you decide to save up for a better, more expensive model and you save, say $700. You'll have the same dilemma again, because the $900 model is only $200 more and sounds better. so I'd say buy a guitar that you like, that's better than the one you have now and keep saving up for an even better one.

If you buy a secondhand in good condition you can always sell it for almost the same price later, if you dont break it.

@KALIBREKILLER It's a blues jam of amazing grace. I watched this video almost a year back now when i was thinking of getting this great little guitar. I loved that intro he played so I watched the video over and over and eventually figured out how he played it. Almost a year on and it's still the first tune I play when I pick up any guitar for the first time. I will get around to tabbing it soon. Let me know if you'd like me to tab it for you :) p.s. He says "It's made of wood" and that's funny but the Little Martin is made of high pressure laminate (Fomica tm) with a spruce top and it sounds even better. Now, that sounds funny to me. We don't have to cut down forests to have great sounding guitars. I like that.
