How tall are you, because I'm 6'3", and my Phantom (I know you have the Maul one, but it doesn't appear that your hilt is shorter than mine) hits the ground easily. They sent me the wrong blades (36" instead of 32"), but it looks like I may still hit the ground with 32" blades, whereas you're not even close.
hey thank you for showing us the moves from star wars i use kendo stiks and a wax wood staff.i work for budk and we sell swords and other stuff including the force fx ligthsabers from MR and i can buy them at wholesale price witch saves me some money. do you think they will make count dooku's saber?
They won't make Dooku's saber or any more Force FX sabers for some time to come. Reason is : Master Replicas is NOT re-newing their license with Lucasfilm.
my other question is do you work for Master Replica? and if so is that you as Darth Cabel with the two sabers? cause that was nasty! also if you do work for Master Replica do you know of any plans to make more fx lightsabers, like Dooku, Palpatine, Qui-Gon Jinn, or Yoda?
I don't work for MR directly. I will on occasion work with them to help sell FX sabers at conventions and such.
The Darth Cable vid was of a guy we met at SDCC this past year. He wanted me to shoot a vid of him.
As for updates on all the newest developments in FX Sabers the Yoda is next. If you want to know more check out the FX-Sabers site (link in my profile)
are you a martial arts master, a baton twirler, or just really good at being a jedi, cause unless you studied the films like crazy, i gotta know how you do? I'm a big fan and try to teach myself all your moves!
Its a little bit of all of them. I've watched martial arts films since I was a kid(Highlander, Star Wars, old and new kung fu flicks, etc.) and I learned a lot from my brother who owns a Martial Arts school, so I get a lot of lessons from him. I would just enjoy going outside with my practice sword or saber and figuring out exactly how each move could be done.
where is his martial arts school? cause if it's in NJ i'd like to join, otherwise keep up the good work. oh and if possible maybe could you show us how to link moves together? like the anakin spin into somethin else? the anakin spin is my favorite move i worked on it for like 2 days after watchin you. thank you! cause now i'm good at it!
It is Myers Family Karate and Krav Maga Center in Hammond, Louisiana. So that might be a bit of a journey for you. But the form of Karate he teaches is Isshin Ryu.
The best way to learn how to link up moves is just experiment with them. By changing the position of you body by turning one way or the other can help piece together moves that wouldn't work together otherwise.
thank you! that's aweseome my girlfriend's father and brother practice Isshin Ryu so maybe i'll start taking classes with them, i look forward to your newest demonstration.
thanks heaps i am currently trying to teach myself bo staff and have been for 2 years and this is a very interesting technique i have learned because of your movie thank you
You can get a regular bo staff from a martial arts supply or the Darth Maul FX lightsaber can be bought from Master Replicas. Do a search for Master Replicas, as I cannot post links in the comments.
I'm gonna try these spins on my Bo staff.

I am also 6'3" tall and I just use the standard MR Maul which is 7'3" total length. The blades are about 33" long.
