I've had a white boyfriend before and it ended because he couldn't handle the social pressures. I expect at least some negativity when dealing with white guys. Sometimes racism, sometimes jealousy/envy, but it doesn't stop me from dating non-black men. The head of admissions at our school showed us a movie on racism a couple weeks ago. It was in the movie. We had a discussion on racism and how it correlates to stress that profession black women experience. They were saying that black women who are professionals have less healthy babies because of constant stress from racism on the job. Even less healthy than poor uneducated white women. I'll have to look it up I don't know the names by hard and I only saw the movie once.
