Hey guys, please visit this short video. It´s a little jam of my new band, AEROTREM. I´m a huge Beatles fan, so I hope you enjoy our sound (it´s just the beggining): /watch?v=9rQjkVwxDog
I have always thought this song has one of the greatest melodies of Harrison's career. He doesn't sing this version quite the way that I prefer, but I will say in response to "thunderlord" I can't disagree more with your earlier comment. Clapton, although very accomplished, has never appealed to me as an absolutely outstanding musician. A great guitarist of course, but I think George's influence is apparent in a much broader spectrum of music. He impresses me much more than Clapton.
Yes, as a guitarist, I must agree with your assessment. Clapton, a conservative blues stylists, played in his genre quite well, but Harrison had a much broader harmonic palette, which he used to great effect, especially when playing slide guitar.
si !! ,clapton es un dios con la guitarra pero si escuchan bien luego entra george en el minuto 4.56 y luego en el minuto 6.07 entra clapton nuevamente y empiesan tocar juntos los dioses clapton y harrison ..........
@thethunderlord666 Your a pathetic piece of shit for saying that. George had a much wider range on guitar than did clapton and was a better all around musician and songwriter. He played a mean slide too.
Well, I don't know what the thunderlord666 said or didn't say, or if he was or is an anti-Harrison troll. But I can say that you are absolutely correct that Harrison had a much wider harmonic range than did Clapton, and I do respect Clapton's accomplishments. I will assume that you are a guitarist (like myself), as those of us who learn and play in various genres tend to favour Harrison over Clapton. In any event, the two, Harrison and Clapton, played well together.
I have never, never heard more emotion in Clapton's playing than on this live cut, especially the second solo. I wish I could tap that kind of energy and emotion in my own playing ....
Never even knew it was released (thanks promoters,Walmart, and every body else that did not give 2 shits.) And I was just thinking what a fantastic DVD it would be!
I guess the powers that be would want to sell at least a million copys the 1st week!
Enquanto Minha Guitarra Suavemente Chora
Eu olho para todos, vendo que o amor está dormindo
Enquanto minha guitarra suavemente chora
Eu olho para o chão e vejo que precisa ser limpo
Enquanto minha guitarra suavemente chora
