It takes 7 minutes to open a box and show the ports? I would rather walk to the store and get a first hand experience. (Or go to the HP website and check the photos).

We already know it plugs into a "standard outlet", and people probably don't want to see the manual, or an explanation to the ports we already know the functions of.

-actually I just bought an HP notebook that's almost identical to yours, only with an AMD processor, everything else is the same. Got mine for $600 as well.

Oh and hey, just a quick tip, be sure to get a laptop fan cooler thing for it because these notebooks get pretty toasty, mine gets around 80, sometimes 90 degrees celsius according to speed fan, shouldn't get anymore than 70.

make sure u remove all of the crapware that there is preinstalled..and like remove the quick launch bar so the taskbar is cleaner. Other then that, Vista is awesome!
