Maxwell didn't stall?? I hope that's sarcasm. Maxwell was stalling his nuts off! the only reason it even looked like he was moving in the last minute was because Hall was spazzing out trying to make something happen...no doubt what Felipe Costa was arguing w the ref about.

@madbowler6 Thats one of the many principles of BJJ, patience. Maxwell played a smarter game against a very dangerous Hall. If Hall was as proficient with 50/50 as everyone accredits him to be (no doubt he's extremely good) he should have been able to figure out a better combination to sweep or transition to make something happen in his favor. Instead he was content to chill there this entire match.

how does one win a match , im not familiar with wrestling from my country , it seems u must choke the persome? , because it seems their were points were one of these guys could have twisted some legs or arms to near breaking?..

Thats the biggest problem with both 50/50 and Turtle guard(my favorite guard) because organizations dont see them as guards most refs havent learned them from the refs point and dont give points correctly. many times in this video zac got points for coming up w/o actually controlling ryan. In telles vids refs dont give points on turtle sweeps. Sad but true. Im not taking anything away from Zac or IBJJF referees they are great. Im just stating how i feel. Congrats to Zac on his title.

Thats the whole problem with BJJ is the way different trounaments have totally different rules.
