@Exessen its a joke because normaly peterson fumbes everything this year was a freak year for him because he braley fumbled normaly hes butter fingers
@xchargerOUx fuck emmit smith you take away his line or his QB and WR who made it easy for him he doesent do what he does and jackson whooo? sayers and cambell never fumbled like peterson does
No disrespect to Jim brown as watching his highlight reels are amazing, but I saw Barry Sanders play and I'm still convinced that he was beyond special.
dont get him wrong though hes a pretty conceited guy and i think secretly he likes people still talking about him but he was the greatest rb to ever play
It's not fair to say anybody will last any certain length. You can't know that shit, it's asking for being wrong. If Jim Brown says Adrian Peterson is good, deal with it - he knows.
Jim Brown is the greatest ever, in his day the nfl season was only 12 games a season and he dominated the league and other players like no other. He had superhuman abilities to make plays all day
Barry was the most fun to watch no question, and perhaps Sweetness had a better all-round game (passing, blocking etc), but JB's 5.2 yards per carry are testament to his effectiveness
son i agree, Barry Sanders=best open-field runner ever, prolly best overall, id say payton was more of a complete player but nobody could cut n move like barry
@17redskins17 Adrian's not better than sanders. He drops the ball to much, and Sanders wasn't soft he just knew that he couldn't run through everyone but watch him finish a run.
Who the hell is the retard interviewing him? Is this for a high school media project or something? Good god, do some research and ask some poignant questions.

I am a huge sooner fan and a huge AD fan but i doubt he will be leading rusher when he retires and here are the reasons...
AD is a powerback with breakaway spead, vision and a splash of finese, a power back aways looks 4 contact first and plans on juking when it is an only option, this may cause him 2 get hit with full contact tackles and AD also runs straight which only worsens the blows i think he can win but will be forced 2 retire early and be a hall of famer either way.. BOOMER SOONER
"Level" as in the sort of talent/reputation level he upheld. Walter Payton did everything --he didn't just run-- he blocked, passed, broke tackles (in or out), and could jump to the skies. Even when he lost he didn't give up on his team, nor cared what people thought of him. Records mean nothing without character and individual uniqueness, Walter brought a pure renaissance to the running back position.
Yeah I'll remember that next time I have these guys over for dinner or want someone to marry my daughter. If you are worshipping anyone as your hero based on their character, it shouldn't be some millionaire who plays a game for a living.
haha the only reason he hasn't broken more than one tackle is cause after that first broken tackle its all open field. and i advise you to look at his college highlights than you'll regret you said that
I think he is a combination of both. All three have a straight up and down running style but Brown was more physical and Sanders was quicker. Peterson looks like a good combination of toughness and speed.
True, but I don't think Adrian Peterson could break more than one tackle, I haven't seen him do it yet. To me he's more like Barry Sanders cause Sanders would scramble around the Linebackers trying not to get hit which is what Peterson does, Jim Brown would just run straight through the Defensive Line breaking tackles as he runs.
i think i know what you mean, but he really doesn't try and not get hit... there are so many times that AP will be running out of bounds and he turns back inside and pops the cornerback or a linebacker.
She was TOTALLY giving JB the rythum!
It was distracting the hell out of him, and i don't think he was expecting it
