@cuzimwhiterite Yea, this was one of my earlierstvids. At the time, it was the best title I could come up with, and it was more extreme than any whistling I had found on YouTube at the time. (Since then I have found much better, but hey.) The reason I did the spinning thing was, I didn't want my vids to be as visually boring as all the other whistling I saw on YouTube, which were just people standing there whistling in front of a camera. (Ironically, that's what a lot of my videos are now.)

I smoked for 15 years, quit when I was 30 and went smoke-free for 9 years, and then stupidly started again, and have quit several times over the last few years. LOL The reason I post videos of myself whistling is, it's something I enjoy, and I'm better at it than most people (at least that's what people tell me). Ha ha, thanks. I will take that as a huge compliment. I had one other person a while back comment that they thought one of my vids almost sounded like a synth... I can assure you though, no synth or autotune here, just years of practice and a good ear for pitch. (Most of the time, anyway... I have a few off-key notes here and there in some of my vids. Eh. Not perfect pitch but I try.)

ooo yes I can imagine, yet at the same time, whistlers appear to be a happier type man, so I think she is blessed to be at home & to hear happiness coming from her spouse than to have him (you in this case) grumbling around or shouting demands or accusations as a good majority of men do, but, than again if she never had to suffer such things than maybe it could be annoying. I think she is blessed & can always send you out to the garden if you insist on whistling through her favorite movie :)

Hmmm... It's one of those things that you just have to keep experimenting until you find out what works. The keys to it are: 1. You have to generate enough airflow, and 2. Your mouth has to make a small passage to force the air through. (For me & most whistlers it's by tightening the lips but some people get the whistle by putting the tongue close to roof of the mouth or by the teeth.) Keep working at it and increase your air flow. High air pressure and small opening are the start. Good luck!

If you have enough airflow, then the problem is probably the mouth. Make sure your jaw, your cheeks, and your lips are all tight. Top and bottom teeth almost touching, tongue low out of the way. Don't have your jaw open wide, you want very little room inside your mouth. Pucker the lips. You have to make a tight nozzle to squeeze the air when it is going out. If your jaw is open too wide or if your cheeks and lips are not holding tight when you blow, it's no good. Good luck!! Keep trying.

Hey Dey, thanks! I don't really have any tips except to just keep practicing... The inhale whistle takes a little more control of the lip muscles to get a good tone. Like anything, the more that you do it, the better you will get. If you can get a tone, the next step is to just keep working on it. Good luck!! Keep on whistling!
