  • Yes, God says to love your neighbor... And just because I believe that wicked go to hell, doesn't mean I hate them... I don't judge them: Firstly, who am I to decide who goes to hell or not? That's up to God. God says to prey for your enemies... I prey for them to understand. I don't wish them to reject Christ. What else would you prey about them? "Dear God, please let my enemies have a good day as they try to slaughter me.", What?! If all are saved, I'm not going to prey for their forgiveness.

  • I like the God who reconciles people more than the god who condemns people! :D

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle I'm sure you do...it's called idolotry.

  • @N2truth7 To be totally honest with you, the universe doesn't even need a God. I am glad that some Christians believe that God is going to save everyone in the end. Don't get me wrong. But the more you understand about how the universe works, the less you need a god to create it. Order a DVD series called "How The Universe Works". It was put out by Discovery Channel. It is pretty interesting! :D

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle I have no need of such a DVD because the evidence for God's ration is everywhere. Unless that rediculous DVD can explain how something came from nothing then it's worthless.

  • @N2truth7 The DVD just says that everything came from nothing. But there is a video on here that says that the universe was created by quantum particles and quantum fluctuations. The interesting thing about quantum particles is that they can jump in and out of existence. So when the right number of quantum particles come into existence with the right fluctuation, a universe like ours is born. Then video is called "Everything Came From Nothing".

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle So we'll just presuppose the quantum particles and assume that they have scientifically documented that these particles "jump in and out of existence". Nice try but they still have to come from somewhere in order to "jump".

  • @N2truth7 Well the "Everything Came From Nothing" video is an hour long and he explains a lot of stuff. And there might be some books out there that any interested person can read that go into more detail as to how it happened. But scientific theories are always based on facts. So any honest truth seeker can find this out for him or herself. Cosmologists and astronomers both agree that there was a big bang 13.76 billion years ago. Quantum particles are a plausible explanation.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle Sorry, but if someone has proven that something comes from nothing then it would have made headline news. Have you ever heard the term "blinded me with science"? It's how people use sophisticated knowledge to badger people into submission and believe what they want them to believe.

  • @N2truth7 We do not have enough room here to really get into things. But I have not heard the term "Blinded by science" and it was probably coined by someone who wanted to keep people in ignorance.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle Your speculation of the phrases origin is a speculative of this fairy tale of matter arising from nothing. If what you said was true then it would have been all over the news and headlines globally. The scientific term for this is called "Hogwash".

  • @N2truth7 Even if it were all over the news, I highly doubt that fundamentalists would accept it.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle They would investigate it as they always do. That's pure speculation on your part.

  • @N2truth7 It is not speculation to say that fundamentalists are determined to believe what they believe no matter what anyone says. That is just their nature.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle Yes it is. It's also stereotyping. People believe because they are convinced. One could say the same thing about you. You don't want to believe in God because it could inringe on your lifestyle.

  • @N2truth7 I used to be a Christian until I saw the girl who I thought was made for me with another man. Then, I started to think that God was playing cruel games with me and other people. But then I stumbled across an Atheist website that got me thinking. So I started researching different world views to see if I could uncover the truth. There could be anything out there but there doesn't have to be.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle So you were looking for an excuse to blame God? Sorry but that's a lame excuse. I was engaged to a girl who had been cheating on me for months before I found out. I had no cause to "blame" God because of the wickedness of her actions. She's a free agent and did what was in her heart. It sounds like you wanted God to "make her" your's.

  • @N2truth7 Not only that, I was born with a rare disability known as Moebius Syndrome. It affects my eye movement, facial expressions, speech, and some other factors. Only 7, 000 people in the world have it. My Dad has Multiple Sclrosis and is in a wheel chair. My mother hurts herself taking care of him. My roommate who is my second cousin is blind. They are both Christians and there does not appear to be a god to heal them. And there are all these other problems out there.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle I understand your grief to a degree. I have diabetes and now that I'm older the affects of it are really showing. My vision is poor, I get cuts on my feet and don't even know it. I woke up the other day with blood all over my toe and I have no idea how I got cut. I never felt a thing. It sucks not being normal (whatever that is) and it's easy to want to blame someone else but truthfully, why are you and I an exception to anyone else?

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle There are better people than me out there who have much worse problems than I do and I'm sure you could even think of a few yourself. Pain, suffering and disease is not foreign to God. Jesus dealt with it all around Him in His day and the truth is that God has not promised anyone in this life that they would be healthy and wealthy and all that stuff. He has promised that if we trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins that He would forgive us.

  • @N2truth7 But if all of God's followers were in perfect health and nothing bad happened to them as long as they were doing what God wanted, then I think that a lot more people would be following the One True Path.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle The reason we're not in perfect health is because we live in a fallen world. God never promised to deliver His people from sickness and death in this life but He has promise it in eternity to those who trust in Him.

  • @N2truth7 What if the men who wrote the Bible were wise enough to know that life is a rolling dice and a lot of times, we roll low numbers? So they wrote down that we would have hardships and whatnot because they still wanted to control people? Honestly though, if there is a hell that we need to be saved from and a heaven that we can go to after we die, God is not doing a very good job at convincing people. Jesus did miracles all the time in the Bible but they aren't happening today.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle Actually over the 5-6 thousand year period that the timeline of the bible spans, there really weren't alot of miracles. Jesus did perform miracles as part of validating His coming as the Messiah. There's really no basis to say that people wrote the bible in order to "control" people. History shows that there are much better ways to control people. The problem isn't that you can't believe, it's that you don't want to believe. The will is in bondage to sin.

  • @N2truth7 I wanted to believe ten years ago but then I moved in with a pastor who told me that the rapture wasn't going to happen, miracles only happened to get the church established, and I may never find love. Then the girl who I thought was made for me (She was wearing my favourite color and was talking to me after a youth service about my disability) turned me down and got another man. But then I started to notice all of the world's problems and didn't see God helping out too much.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle I understand your frustration and grief but I will say again that Jesus never promised to solve our problems in this life. He promised to save us if we believe in Him but even Jesus Himself suffered te problems of this life. Being lonely is a drag, there's no denying that and I can't promise you that God will do anything about. He might, but I don't know. All I can tell you is that you are a sinner like me and you need forgiveness because you've sinned against God as I have.

  • @N2truth7 Guilt and fear are tools that are used to control people. Yes, no one is perfect and we all do things to hurt ourselves and others. But there still needs to be a personal god to judge people. And actually, according to Near Death Experiences, we judge ourselves while God or the light just loves us. We are made aware of the harm that we have caused but we are not judged by anyone but ourselves. Of course, there might be other explanations for NDEs but they aren't always Christian.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle

I have a few questions for you...

    1. Where does guil come from? I don't mean what agravates it but what is it's source?

2.You said "no one is perfect", you are right but where did you get the idea that there is a "perfect"?

  • @N2truth7 Guilt can come from our conscience which evolved to help us out in a social structure but it can also come from people who want to control others. And perfect comes from theoretical ideas about how someone or something should be. But is the god of the Bible really perfect if he could not forgive the world until his own son was brutally tortured and crucified? If a person did something like that, he would be locked up. I don't want an insane god.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle Why would it"evolve to help us out"? That statement implies that something forsee's a need to develope in order to meet a need. In order to meet a need, something intelligent needs to orchestrate this. For example when it looks like it's going to snow a person forsee's the "need" for tire chains.

  • @N2truth7 Morality can be observed in the animal kingdom and that is where it came from. Even ants have very basic morality. They do not attack the queen. They do not eat the queen's food. They do not attack other ants. And they work hard. Any ant that fails to keep these very basic moral norms gets killed by the other ants. Conscience has evolved because our social structure demands it. Sam Harris actually wrote a book called "The Moral Landscape." Maybe read it.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle The whole thing on the ants is not morality... That's survival. There is a line dividing morality and instinct and it's the size of lake superior. They see the queen as top priority. Because if she dies, they die. There is no compassion for the queen. If an ant looses a leg, instinct comes in and they kill, and devour the ant(the breaking of moral law you mentioned). This abides to dog eat dog; survival.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle As far as your view of God's justice, what if you went to court because a man murdered a member of your family and the judge simply said to the criminal "you know what? I'm gonna just let you go. Have a nice day." Would that be OK with you?

  • @N2truth7 There is a big difference between murder and little things that people do. And a murderer shouldn't be tortured forever. Maybe he should have to experience what he put his victim and his family and friends through. But being tortured forever is a little bit extreme even for a mass murderer like Muhammad. And the god of the Bible wants to torture people for trivial things. He kicked out Adam and Eve for eating fruit. That is crazy! Hey, send me your e-mail address for private.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle There is? According to who's standard? Who decides what is "big" and what is "little".

  • @N2truth7 I believe God makes the standards ... Obviously. Just like he us the one who makes the decision to be the savior of all people, and just like he is the decided that he will have all people to be saved. It doesnt matter if you cant believe it ... Or don't want to.

  • @Ironmaw1776 Well I believe the bible as it's written in context and no, it does not say that "every single person" is going to be saved. Now if you want to cover your ears and hide your eyes and run off with a few verses that are out of context then go ahead. That just means that you are willfully ignorant and not interested in truth. Jesus made it abundantly clear that everyone will enter His kingdom. He also made it clear that some will go to Hell.

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle Did you ever stop an think why he did miracles? Our people are a skeptic people. Do you think he would have had a single follower if he simply said, "I'm christ, follow me! I was also born in a feeding trough!" The New Testament would never had been created!

  • @LifeIsABigPuzzle Perfection can not be simply given to someone. We are restrained by a tainted world and body, that we tainted. God believes in punishment, however because of him mercy he gave you the option of repentance.

  • Very Good info... keep spreading the true Gospel..

  • Great video. The truth is getting out!

  • Thank you ... And yes it is ...

  • Great Job. I am amazed that even though I stand with you and others on youtube on UR or UC, and I think I have most of the Ideology nailed down, I come across videos from you and others like you and learn something new with almost every video I view.

God Bless Brother and keep spreading God's GREAT News.

    THe Bagua

  • Indeed, the gospel of Christs reconciliation spreads throughout the whole word of God. In some way it is linked intimately with every single spiritual issue. Coming to understand the message of Christs reconciliation really opened my eyes to new ways of understanding the scripture that had somehow eluded me before, They just began leaping off the page. I still have my own struggle with interpreting scripture, but an answer seems always to present itself. Thanks your friend, and god bless ...

  • i second that motion.
