Mitch wants to keep the Bush tax rebates/cuts with the reasoning that it is the right thing to do because it is good for individuals and small bussinesses, yet he fails to mention that the ones that gain the most from the tax rebates/cuts are Big Businesses and Super High Income Individuals, who pay little to nothing while the amount the rest of us pay supports the gap that is caused by the Big Businesses and Super High Income Individuals not paying their fair share.

Tax Cuts=NO income

(no income means NO SS, No Medicare, No unemployment) for those who 'NEED' it during a time when jobs are being lost.

Did I hear him claim that tax increases would effect 50% of small businesses? If he really did say that, is he lying or does he have data I don't know about? The tax cuts for the rich only help the top 2-3% of small businesses. What about the other 97-98% of small businesses that are hurt by having to pay for the rich people's tax cuts? These small businesses create most of the new jobs. Do politicians like this even care about solving problems or helping average Americans?
