How do you describe the feeling this scene gives you? I still don't know. I played this song for everyone in my class and asked them to help me figure it out. They didn't really know. I played it for my teachers. I asked them how it made them feel. They still didn't really know.

Personally I don't see how a picture of a cross can ruin a song. Just minimize your web browser and listen to the song if it really bothers you that much. Music > Everything else.
@smartsprinter unfortunately studio ghibli took down the videos with the original songs. I dont know why they felt the need that people should not post their songs. If you want to listen to the original songs I recommend Grooveshark . com but on youtube you can only find remixes and slightly different versions. Hope I helped:)

Religion does not characterize anything but mere beliefs. I am an agnostic, but I am vexed by those who feel they are superior due to their independence of religion. Look at the cross in a different perspective, perhaps moral enlightenment. If there's one thing I admire about Christianity, it is the moral ethics encouraged. The rejection of a picture due to a mere symbol just shows how close-fisted of a person you are; an attribute atheists feel independent from.

Suddenly i think of my childhood, life sure was diffrent then and i enjoyed everyday like a page from an amazing book. I just wanted to wake up everymorning to see the sun introduce my new day.
This beautiful song makes of everyone on earth that loses their loved ones. Listening to this beautiful song makes me just as sad as 7 billion people losing loved ones, and not being able to cope without them. so that is why I pray to our Lord Jesus Christ to bring everyone who has died recently/long ago back to our Lord's heavenly, happy kingdom!

@Krako248 you are right that the cross was an instrument of torture. however many people see it as symbol of afterlife, peace, faith, sacrifice which makes it one of the more controversial symbols. the upside down cross represents St. Peter who was Jesus's righthand man. after the crucifixion he preached the word of jesus and eventually got caught. as a final act of faith, he asked his captives to crucify him upside down, he said he was not worth enough to die the same way as his master.

Not all religious people or atheists are upthight, but too many who care about religion (wether they have an active belief or disbelief regarding it) gets to worked up when they have a chance to bring up this topic. Like on this picture, were atheists are hating on the cross and Christians defending it. It's a fucking picture, and if a symbol vaguely used in it belongs to a belief you don't follow, fuck it.
