mmm yeah my mom took away my electric guitar so was stuck learning it on acoustic. I noticed how it took me forever to do that one fill so I lowered the action by turning the truss rod in the sound hole clockwise. It made the strings closer to the fretboard and not so high so I dunno try that it may make it easier :)

I bet if you played the whole thing slower it would flow better and slower on acoustic is always nice. Either way you did an amazing job on this cover! And beautiful to boot...
