This series reminds me of the book "Brian's Winter". A young boy (around 14) is tossed into the cold winter in the forest with only his survival skills and his hatchet. He must hunt the animals to keep from starving and he also makes a coat out of fur.

Btw. just if you didnt know it : If you use Shift+Leftclick it will store the full stack what you have. so you don't have to drag + drop
