I was just watching Crank 2 going MAN that score is fantastic, who did the score for this movie.....didn't know one of my favorite musicians was the composer. Fantastic!
Your music and my friends were responsible for ruining my life. Acid and years of weed plus shrooms sexual insecurity and suicidal thoughts have contributed to my deadly depressing obsession with the clown album. I've been struggling with alcoholism and depression for a long time. Now that I see Mike Patton living on and having a good creative life it almost gives me solace. I wish I hadn't screwed my life up so bad. I wish I could meet with him the way John Lennon met the guy in Imagine
This movie is like a Tarantino-film on crack, and the music fits that perfectly. I especially like the theme-song that you first hear when the end-credits start.
regardless of how he sounds when speaking, Mike Patton is undoubtingly a musical genious. You take his work, & not just hear what he has to say about it but really hear his spin on it. Just incredible. Faith No More, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom, all owe some real props to this guy.
I've got to give this man props. The soundscapes he creates are some of the most refreshing and cutting edge i've ever heard. (Including his collaboration work)
Definitely one of the greatest and most genius people in the music industry. I wish everyone had the creativity that he does. Theres not one piece of music that he's been responsible for that i havent liked.
@dumbwiz I agree with you but if everyone did have that creativity then all the music would sound the same. It;s great having these people with that bit extra
@dumbwiz I LOVE, LOVE Patton. That said, some of his solo stuff is just a tad too much. For example, a lot of the stuff on his album "Adult Themes for Voice" is SO way out there, that it can be a bit hard to get into. I admire his creativity and boldness, but I can't say I like everything he's done.
Mike Patton rocks!

This is cool, was kinda bummed the Crank 2 blu-ray didn't have anything on Pattons involvement in the special features - great movie, genius score!

Been a fan of Pattons since 1989 when he screamed onto the scene with Faith No More. I know he was around before. Wasn't Mr. Bungle around first?
