I got to meet him during a funeral at Arlington. What a great example of a hero. He is so awesome in size. How he escaped in Vietnam during the rescue of Tom Norris is truly unbelieveable.I am so glad God spared his life. He truly deserves the Medal of Honor.

I believe this is the only time that one Medal of Honor winner rescued another. Tom Norris won his during the incident that would later become the move "Bat 21".
