I'm a huge (fat & old) fan of Mr Mister, bought their first two albums on spec in '84/5(?) & have been hooked ever since. I must follow up their individual careers since than. So much music, so little time.
Do you ever think there will be a kick ass decade like the 80's ever again? A decade where some of the best movies and music came out? I was born in 85 so I really don't know but were people aware of how amazing that decade was while they were in it or after the fact? Really would have loved to be my age now in the 80's.
you are getting mean..............He won't ever let go!!!!! THE GRIP WILL NEVER GO AWAY!!!!! they made it through the runaway............pluck their feathers and don't use me for this..............someone who was merely standing on the sidewalk through those FEARS!!! observing! LOOK UP EVERYONE WILL BE IN PERFECTION CALLED ETERNITY!!! THE TEARS and it was a MAN THIS TIME!!!!!!
Music, something that you think is second thing in the life but if you learn Psychology you have to know this (because of my poor English may I'll not be able to explain this): Music actually has the power to control you, directly control your emotions, your opinion over the world, your attitude. I like 80's because of the music. The music is the base of your lifestyle. 80's music is the best. I prefer AOR, Rock or something like this. It relaxes me, fills me with positive energy.
I LOVE this song. Mr Mister are one of the greatest 80's bands! I wish they would reunite and do a nostalgic tour!! CASH IN Mr mister we want to hear you again!!!!
@mrmisterfan1 WHOA! I was just thinking about if they came back the othr day.....and now they ARE!!? This could be great if they do some live shows I hope they sound good stil live.
I will like more music from them. . . its a shame how the music industry become, supporting idiots like justin bibier and lady gaga's copycat of maddona and both of them copy of cyndi Lauper
ANNOUNCEMENT:On 7/19/10, Richard Page announces in a web radio interview that Mr. Mister's final unreleased album PULL has been re-mastered and will see the light of day "soon." Go to listenin.org and look up Mr. Mister in the INTERVIEWS page!! Good news, eh?
Currently Richard Page, former frontman and bassist of Mr. Mister, is touring in Ringo Starr's All Starr Band. He even performs some of their biggest hits with them on this tour.
Man, I grew up listening to Welcome to The Real World, thinking that was their only CD for YEARS. And here 20 some years later im listening to songs i never heard from them before. god I love technology.
I'm also 20 digging these Mr. Mister. They're simply awesome! I think you'd also like, Journey, Glass tiger, Sad cafe, Outfield. Icehouse and more. Yeah! Love technology! Have a great time listening to MUSIC!
just got go on on cd again,it was my fav work by the band ,it kept the tune and melodies of earlier and added even more soul,eg Dust and Healing waters.
They did 3 albums in their time. This song was on the first one. By no means was it as good as the other 2, but this song was one of the album's better tracks, in my opinion.
they actually did a 4th album after 'Go on...' but it was never released. Richard Page said that 'Go on...' was their best work, but the record execs only look @ sales. Go figure.
Yes. Peter Cetera left to persue a solo career and 'Chicago' asked Richard Page to be their lead singer. Page declined and continued on with his band. Good move on his part. He carved his own niche' into 80's brand of music.
Hey Supreme. That's interesting...I had no idea Chicago asked Richard to take Peter's place. Makes sense...tenor voice and plays bass. Thx for the info. =) I actually learned something today instead of watching cute puppy videos. LOL!! Thx again.

@PMalmenklev Yes, they are a bit like a cross between Duran Duran & The Police, only better, more musically interesting.

Superbe chanson de Mr Mister! J'adore! Surtout le solo (du synthé je présume et aussi de la guitare)
Yanlegrave 3 years ago
I hear Toto, Yes, and Men without Hats in this song. Also, the drums do not sound very full-bodied here.
evolnieveilebi 4 years ago 4
Yes, I confirm. With some guitar and keyboard arrangment could be a Toto song of the 80s
Davemonzon 3 years ago 5
I forgot...Toto, they asked Paige, in 84, to replace B.Kimball. He refused.
Davemonzon 3 years ago 4
It's "PAGE", and he was also asked to join Chicago in 1985.
