the marui v2 was the best inivation of its time until systema themselves for the real PTW ...
your rifle is way to complex.... sure you can go from 330-500 fps in minutes the systems you can in seconds pop one pin out rack low powered cylinder out install new one lock simple....
and does 500 out of the box if buy the max-2 ( think all are these now anyway )
then your selling reinforced install parts if going upto and above 500 fps.... more ways for it to go wrong..
No thanks. It's a cool design but too many moving parts. Thats a message for disaster. Keep it simple stupid. HPA EPAR all the way. 1 moving part. 1 part to replace if it goes bad. I put my piece of crap PTW down for it.
So you are an Engineer, that's great but can you tell us what exactly is that you know about our H4A1?
there are only 2 around for testing and "abuse" lol!, they are On Duty playing weekly all day long with well over 60,000+bb each so far, in a very short period of time and without a problem (by the way they are still going strong and these are not even the final version). ....so not too bad for an "Engineering Disaster" after all....don't you think? ;)
@HSAirsoft Take a look at the design, it is almost identical to the LYT T65. Think for a second - half tooth piston - inherently weak, and the piston is heavy, which magnifies the wear and the momentum of the geartrain as the sector gear contacts the pickup tooth. I'm not saying this isn't going to last a good long time on a weak battery in a setup lower than 30 watts, because I would expect it to last in that kind of setup.
@DisguisedAirsofter sorry for the delayed replay. yes these are all good point,BUT..H4 is NOT the same as T65. Rear and Front part of the H4 are heavily reinforced (how you can see on the video I actually stand on it and I am 150lb.) Our tests with STOCK H4 and 420fps spring showed absolutely no sign of wear on the stock piston/gears after 30,000rds w/11.1v lipo. The word "Performances" has many definitions, for you might be ROF, for us and many others is an overall great and durable AEG.
@HSAirsoft For those of us who wish to have a performance of 40, 50, even the 120 watts I've managed to produce with a TM style mechbox, it's just not doable with this base unit. The takedown is cool, the quick spring change is nice, but this is really a gun for the guys who would otherwise run a PTW/CTW or a GBBR and aren't looking for performance. Not saying it isn't a cool design, just not practical for the performance geek.
None of this was meant as an attack, just casual observation. ;)
@DisguisedAirsofter I am sorry, I forgot to mention that both guns run with a 11.1v 20c lipo battery.
we do recognize that thinking "Outside The Gearbox" lol for some is difficult as they are so used to the V2 Marui GB. But the point is that, even if most of of us do so, NO manufacturer will ever recommend to Upgrade "Performances" no matter how BETTER will make the gun. So bottom line is you are free to make your gun make Espresso if you like.;) ...but NONE of of them is designed to do so.
@DisguisedAirsofter Also, as we have said numerous time, H4A1 is designed for Power not Speed, and as I said before these are NOT the final version. The stock piston is basically a SR25 long piston and the back extension only ad 3gr to that, so if you take a sr25 piston w/19 teeth metal rack is well heavier than our half teeth stock piston...but no one has never been concerned about that as people are using them forever and with excellent results. ;)
@HSAirsoft The issue that you will run into with power is that now the rear portion of the lower reciever takes the stress, which can, will, and does cause cracking.
You can easily push more power out of a SR-25 or PSG1 base due to the contained mechanism.
Regardless of this, and with what I've been saying, this design is definetly a nice thing for those realism guys who want a semi-realistic field strip and don't need performance.
I shot a PR-15 yesterday and it is an impressive weapon. I am not into gas guns (I know it is compressed air) and all the issues that come with them. Guy who owns it loves gas powered gun and for him it is a great gun to have & maintain. He has the money too. I don't.
I am a AEG person. I like the design and messing with them. This new one will be another one for me to mess with and enjoy. Modular designs on the ICS and now this will be in my arsenal for a long time because I enjoy using them.
@TheEagleAndTheApple If you like the Pr-15 and you have the money to buy it we will be more than happy to get you one with all the necessary Air Gear and such no problema ;) It's a great concept and I will probably get one myself. About PTW design..you are entitled to your opinions but.. according to the DEMAND and the satisfaction rate I have to disagree with you, we have a countless list of very happy PTW owners, and even after CTW mess everyday people still ask us for one.
I keep seeing comments about the Polarstar design and although it is interesting, not everyone has access to fill Airtanks up at local paintball locations. Off topic, sorry.
With that money id rather get a hs5 custom. And my observations are that all this really is is a longer piston and a beefed up steel body. What is so amazing about this? Whats the preformance increase?
Looks similair to gaurders failed attempt. Good look. What you did was make more parts to fail while increasing no sort of preformance. PolarStar has you beat by a mile and a half.
@DayOfShadows5 Hi, ok PolarStar PR-15= $650 gun +$200 air kit+ $25 x 3 (at least) Velocity Nozzle + lipo battery and Charger. Sorry, you cannot be serious by comparing that with our CODE-8 H4....right??
I GUARANTY you that if you have $1000/$1200 to spend we can make you an AEG (not air tanks needed)
A LOT better than most AEG in the market or ANY gun for same or more price range.
About "Guarder", that was over 4 years ago, a lot of stuff changed + we are making our OWN specs.
I completely understand your concern about the Massive size of piston, but SIZE sometime Does NOT matter!!Lol in fact not only weight 2-6 gr more than a standard AEG popular aluminum piston,
But it also goes with the GEARS as a KIT. As we have mentioned previously, these guns are build for "Power" and the Upgrade Kit is designed to handle heavy springs and it does it with outstanding results. Of course there is always room for improvements. ;)
@HSAirsoft If your system is capable of running these big, heavy, metal pistons at 400FPS & 40RPS with good reliability I will be impressed to say the least. Have you at least considered polycarb pistons? A poly piston with a metal rack would be a far superior choice in my opinion. If not I suggest you at least make polycarb versions available as an after market component.
@RohanAirsoft yes I will be impressed myself if ANY AEG would do that....and for long!! Lol, Anyway thanks for the suggestions, the Stock Piston Is Polycarb and it can easily handle up to 400+fps. Since it appear that you are familiar with internals you should know that an overall High Torque gun, will not give you high ROF..definitely not anywhere near 40rps, so can we at least pass the fact that these guns are NOT build for ROF but for power?
@HSAirsoft Ah I see, I didn't realize the stock piston was poly, thank you for clarifying that. Definitely clears up the majority of my concern. There have been AEGs made that can reliable fire 60+ RPS and 400FPS (with dual sector gears). 400 @ 40 is not unheard that of. Personally I expect components to go above and beyond their rating so I find that a very reasonable level to test reliability. I see where you're coming from though, the goal is for power over other factors so it makes sense.
@HSAirsoft Anyway I wish you/your company luck with your endeavor. Anything that has potential to bring advances to the AEG world gets a thumbs up in my books. I imagineyou won't be able to give away specifics but do you think you could give me a % rating of how close to the Guarder system the H-4 is? Apologies for the double response, youtubes character limit gave me no other option.
@HSAirsoft The problem is the standard aluminum airsoft piston is a giant piece of poop.
Also day of shadow is right. You copied the T65 design.
P* PR-15 $650 (less if you already have the externals). Air rigs are NOT $200. You don't need an air nozzle with a regulator (duh), and everybody and their mom owns a lipo (wouldn't we have to buy one for this too anyway by that logic?)
At least give credits to the T65 and don't try to pass this off as somehow revolutionary.
@TheEagleAndTheApple If you don't know, we are NOT a manufacturer and we never stated that WE the gearbox "entirely" in fact not even Guarder design it, what we do is Customize the design of the whole gun to our Specs, inside and OUT, as we think the design it is "Revolutionary" but needed to be corrected in many areas and that's what we are doing. About PR-15, if you have the money great but no matter how you want to turn it is still going to cost you $800$900 .. or you can buy 3 of our H4 ;)
@HSAirsoft That isn't the Guarder design? Here allow me to point out a link which you may find intriguing then.. taskforcestryker.freeforums.o r g/the-guarder-t65-t1015.h t m l (remove the spaces). You either A: Found a way to jam the T65 guts into an actual AR, or B: Got someone to make you a knock off of the T65 design..
@TheEagleAndTheApple Ok let's put this to rest...Guarder make PARTS...and not even All of them. a Lots of them are designed and made (OEM) by TW/HK Manufacturers. Like all others they just check the products and if they like it they put their name on it...is that simple. We on the other end, as usual we are actively Cooperating with manufacturers to improve their product Inside and Out if necessary ..or we will not put our name on it period! up to them now do these mandatory changes we asked.
@TheEagleAndTheApple A very popular example is CTW! We have helped Celcius for over 3 Years improving their products a lots of the GOOD changes on that gun ware made by us, and they ware 99% there ....until they decided to go back to Sloppy Assembly, Materials used and no quality control...so we STOPPED them from exporting CTW here in US until they address and fix the long list of problems we gave them as we ware tired to fix them here FOR them...and for FREE!
@HSAirsoft The CTW... You're joking right? The CTW/PTW concept is the biggest overpriced failure on the market. Flawed in more ways then one. So you are going to slam P* for being so expensive but then boast about the CTW? Seems a little hypocritical.. And you openly admit to rebranding the T65. Good to know.
@TheEagleAndTheApple Sorry for the double post.. youtube limitation: 3rd Actually "Guarder" Re-brand it!! they bough the product as it was and put their name on it, we don't. If you don't know the T65 had Plastic piston and Gears..+ we toke the original "design" and "Improve it" we are totally changing most of the specs and materials which are CODE-8 exclusive.. including the "Body Paint"! 4th...Did you even read the posts?
@TheEagleAndTheApple No we are not joking, 1st, I don't know where you are getting that we are "Slamming" Pr-15 when we are SELLING it! it's just the you can't compare it with CODE-8 period. 2nd CTW has been a good PTW "Alternative" for a while, and people loved it....as I said..until they screwed the QC so we STOP it, and that should tell you a bit about us, we sill get TONS of emails DAILY asking WHEN it will be available again.
@HSAirsoft I sincerely hope you are kidding me.. Some friendly advice from a tech to a company: Save face and drop the charade. The T65 design, is inherently the same flawed concept as the CTW/PTW design. If you are seriously saying that the HPA P* is less efficient then the T65, you might want to just close up shop and look into a different type of business. The guarder had a plastic piston? Polymer pistons are some of the most effective types of pistons out there. Metal on a piston is just bad
@HSAirsoft Oh and the guarder had metal gears just FYI. You know what tells me more about your company? The fact that you are blatantly claiming this design at your own and boasting superiority against obviously more advanced systems such as the P* HPA.
@TheEagleAndTheApple I see you are in a personal crusade for P* as you keep coming out with your own conclusions. We NEVER stated we INVENTED the design! or that is BETTER than P* YOU DID! AGAIN, we are RE-DESIGN IT, when finished 60%+ of the "Original" design materials and specs will be CODE-8 "exclusive" as WE DESIGNED IT!. no one is comparing it to you beloved P* except YOU! which is NON SENSE!! this is not the place to do so JUST STOP already! Oh FYI Original Design had Plastic Gears.

@TheEagleAndTheApple Ok at this point it make no sense for us trying to explain to you any longer as you keep repeating your comments without reading..or understanding what we are saying. we appreciate your inputs but this is NOT a forum, you have expressed you opinions...and we got it. We would like to keep your post up so that others can read them, but another none sense post like this and we will be forced to delete all you posts and ban you for further ones.
@HSAirsoft Oh and the guarder had metal gears just FYI. You know what tells me more about your company? The fact that you are blatantly claiming this design at your own and boasting superiority against obviously more advanced systems such as the P* HPA.
An aluminum piston.. Oh boy do I see some big problems in this things future..Why not just use a polycarb design with steel teeth? There is NO point in putting that HUGE amount of stress on the gears and motor (and release tooth on the piston). I'm really hoping you guys switch out that heavy monster for something more logical..
WAY SICK!! Hoping different "models" mean other than M4's...got a TSD M4 from my cousin and upgraded pretty much everything so it' s more than adequate for now, but I'm DYING for an M16, love the nam look i guess, are you going to use the same gearbox to make an M16 model? Sweet intro btw, it's like you put your logo back together after it was field stripped...and then blew it up..nice
we are glad that you guys are intrigued and curios about our H4, please keep the comments coming....
angrymuffin...as is stated in the video, CODE-8 H4's are "Build For Power"...not speed, of course they can always be modified for "Speed", but we think 15-16rds is more than enough. Also, material might be the same...but the GB is totally different from ICS or any other "Split" gearbox you have seen before. I really think you need to wait and see our next video to have a better idea.
@angrymuffin123 the piston is still heavier which means the ROF will be slower. Plus even the most reinforced parts will wear down eventually, and a big, heavy piston won't help. Plus if they actually put CNC steel gears, CNC aluminum gearbox shell, etc, the price won't be "low" as they claim. Plus the gearbox shell looks to be similar to ICSs, and looks to be made of average quality metals, just a bit thicker.
Awesome new intro! Gun looks amazing too! can't wait to see pricing and other upgrades; not that it seems to need any after those internals bring it to 500+ fps
way over complicated .....
the marui v2 was the best inivation of its time until systema themselves for the real PTW ...
your rifle is way to complex.... sure you can go from 330-500 fps in minutes the systems you can in seconds pop one pin out rack low powered cylinder out install new one lock simple....

@HSAirsoft Glad to see you have a polycarb piston though..
TheEagleAndTheApple 5 months ago
An aluminum piston.. Oh boy do I see some big problems in this things future..Why not just use a polycarb design with steel teeth? There is NO point in putting that HUGE amount of stress on the gears and motor (and release tooth on the piston). I'm really hoping you guys switch out that heavy monster for something more logical..

Nice!

Hi guys,
we are glad that you guys are intrigued and curios about our H4, please keep the comments coming....
angrymuffin...as is stated in the video, CODE-8 H4's are "Build For Power"...not speed, of course they can always be modified for "Speed", but we think 15-16rds is more than enough.

Plus the gearbox shell looks to be similar to ICSs, and looks to be made of average quality metals, just a bit thicker.

very odd and clever design with the spring and piston. could be the future for airsoft

Awesome new intro! Gun looks amazing too! can't wait to see pricing and other upgrades; not that it seems to need any after those internals bring it to 500+ fps

THUMBS up, cool intro, AWESOME COMMERICAL - Fantastic HSA PTW thinking of preordering

The weight of that huge piston would slow the rof and put more stress on the parts...
ScrewIntel 5 months ago
@ScrewIntel i think they enforced it enough so the piston wouldnt do that
