Nice review. I noticed that the wire leading into the junction box was 14/2 Romex. When do you need those wires to be protected by metallic cable?
On an unrelated note, if you are using PVC conduit that is glued into a PVC box, do you still need some kind of clamp to hold the wires secure as they enter the box?
@spelunkerd I'm not a licensed electrician but from my experience armored cable ( BX )
is more of a commercial indoor use cable. The 14/2 lumex you see me use here is what you need for this job. Bx has its own specialty fittings and accessories needed when using that cable.
@spelunkerd When using PVC conduit and boxes there are not clamps used to secure the wire at the boxes, but when you secure the ground wire to the screw in the boxes it helps.Really though once the wires are all inclosed and the boxes and conduit are secured properly the wire should not move. If you have any other questions about this or anything else go to my web site and try the forum. Thanks for watching.
@HouseImprovements Thanks, Shannon. That's what I thought, but I wanted to be as sure as possible before I get some unrelated work inspected this week. With it all glued together I can't see the wires going anywhere. Sorry for highjacking your thread. Your videos are excellent. Where are you based? I live in Lethbridge.
Another great job! You got me through finishing my drywall ( turned out perfect thanks to you ) and now I am ready to install my new dishwasher. Thanks Again.
80% of this is great but I think some very important material (for new people) got left on the editing floor: hooking up the water line under the sink and the drain hose under the sink (at a few seconds past the 20 minute mark). If you could add this info too, this would be perfect. Thanks so much for posting this
Very helpful thanx for doing what you do It helps us do it ourselves :)

Thanks for this excellent video.
Perhaps you could have tied a cord to the wire to draw it through.
Just a thought. Thanks again.
