I can't seem to know how to download mods from the sims resource site. I'm using Firefox, it downloads, but it doesn't download in my actual game. It's frustrating me A LOT! I'm confused whether to download it as the "game base compatible" button or the "winZIP" button. Either they still don't work :(. I also cant get the teen woohoo from mod the sims site either!! I run windows XP and have all the games up to outdoor living, I'm trying to get some hospital stuff to work from modthesims.I have winRar, I have downloaded it to a folder in my documents.

I put the untouched file into my sims 3 Downloads folder, nothing happened,

I put the extracted files into my sims 3 Downloads folder, nothing happened,

I put the extracted files into my Program Files folder and created a folder entitled Mods then another called Packages, again, NOTHING happened.

@AriXBerrie You need to create a new folder in Sims 3 called Mods then another in it called Packages. You need something else in the mods file thats on Modthesims, so check on there.

I've done everything that you did in the video, but when I went to Local Disk> Program Files>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3 and there's no mod or download folder. I created a mod and package folder and put all of the unzipped files into the folder and my content isn't showing up. I also have Late Night, Amibitions World Adventures, Fast Lane, and high end loft stuff. Late Night was the last expansion that I installed.

@juggalette9089 Me either we are in the same boat. I do believe it has something to do with the resource file that you are suppose to replace (one of the methods I have tried). I have tried a number of ways to get the mods to show up but they still don't. I have just given up.
