Man, I wore this cassette out back in 78 or 79. Drove my El Camino down country roads with this playing, cooler full of cold ones beside me and often a country gal in tight jeans right beside. Skinny dipping in the moonlight , yummy.. FYI, the tailgate on a 75 El Camino makes a good bed in an emergency. Girls didn't shave and men with hair on their chests were considered sexy. Ah, such memories.
My nature dude who is away in the Appalachian Trail hiking the entire trail got me into Don Williams and many other great singers like George Strait and I can't stop listening to them now. It is also a reminder of my Hiker.
I love his voice, his singing is so calm and he keeps to himself, doesn't demand attention and absoultely darling. His songs mean so much, if only people would listen to the words today, we would have a better world. Thanks Don for your insight.
