The fact that it was filmed in Pakistan, India, Canada and the US is so fitting. This man is living proof that music alone has the ability to bring people together, like nothing else. If there were more Nusrats, there would be no more animosity. Everyone would live together in a spirit of cooperation, working together to please the Divine.
2:55 Rahat Fateh Khan... he's looking so young... Now he's keeping the voice of NFAK very much alive... hat's off to Fateh Khan's Family.... Golden 600 Years...

fanx for the Great Video mate!!...May Allah Bless Nusrat Fateh Ali khan with the highest place in heavens(Amen).although hes dead but he is still alive deep down our hearts&memories being the legend that he is and will be..( HAQ ALI MOULA )
im an englishman, and i cant tell you how he brings about a feeling of utter, sorry, niceness!!!! i love him and thesound!!! if he ever gave a concert i might be at the back but id be there!!! and have just heard listening to this that he is dead!! but he isnt, is he!!!!!
- Then irrelevant stuff like, "Females also sing", and then that cheap local singer just kept on singing and singing and singing and singing and singing, and even at the end credits, it was her voice in the background. She wasn't worth that much time.
you must know his roots are from punjab, india. his father lived not only in my city jalandhar but in area where i presently live Basti Sheikh. before division of country. this fact may be feeling annoying to you. but its true
Salaam! Hmm, well he´s a Khan/Pathan and all of us are originally from Afghanistan mate. Yes of course a lot of us migrated to Barresaghir after Afg and then Pakistan but that doesn´t take away the fact that all Khans are originally Afghanis. Peace be with you brother.
And no, it´s not annoying. I can imagine you feel proud.
Music is a universal language regardless of race, age, gender or religion. Let's just celebrate the unity of music rather than the differences. Thank you.
no he didn't. true Artists bring beauty into the world that didn't exist before. true Artists an their Art belong to everyone. u are just proving that u didn't understand him or his work. u are Tribal. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is immortal.
why do u people have to fight over some religion ???? humans invented religion ... to fight ... over one other .... there was never a religion when the world was born ..... enjoy the music ....love evry1 .... why does people have to fight over ones country ?? religion ?? caste ????
...she isn´t Indian and that she belongs to the whole world. Of course, the whole world can love her, just like everyone can love Nusrat Sahib but to say that she isn´t Indian or that Nusrat Sahab isn´t Pakistani....is just jealousy. Please be proud of who you are, no matter Indian, Bengali or Pakistani........we are all fellow humanbeings and each has their own way of reachin Allah swt. Hum kaun hote hain Allah swt ki makhlook ko takleef pohnchane vaale.....Allah swt se darro!
...amazingly open and nice people on both sides. Corruption.....no just kidding!
Anyway, those of you saying that Nusrat sahab didn´t belong to any country.......He´s definitely a Muslim and he´s definitely a proud Pakistani. He even sang a song called "Pakistan, Pakistan, mera inaam Pakistan". But being proud of your own country doesn´t mean that you have to hate others. I´m Pakistani but I still appreciate Indian culture, love Lata-jee for ex. I wouldn´t even think of saying that...
Please stop fighting, yeh fazool larrai band karo! I turn esp. to my humwatan Pakistanis. A true Muslim respects other faiths and cultures. A true Muslim doesn´t curse and use foul language. Those of you fighting, the only thing you´re proving is your OWN background and personality, not the personality of Pakistan or India. Both are great countries and I´m saying this as a Pakistani. Try to celebrate the things we have in common instead like respect for elders and good food, amazingly...
i feel so sad when i see people fighthing over religion, that too in comments of Nusrat sahab songs. we should not be fighting where he belonged to India or Pakistan. He doesnt belong to one country, he is a gift to world by god he belongs to the whole world Even he wanted everyone to understand that all are one. And i thank Sameerk88 for his comments. We should all feel sad that he has left us so early. May be Gods above will be enjoying his singing. Please don fight it will take us nowhere

I agree 100% with you....his for fathers migrated from afganistan to jalhander INDIA my brothers and sisters live in pakistan....my family was originaly from sindh...my grandfathers and father first foot steps are in pakistan...its a shame that people dont understand that we were one people...with the same dreams and culture...just a short time ago...stop the hate....

It could have been much much better.
knonie 2 years ago
It was quite an incomplete and weak movie.
See my observations:
They mentioned soundtracks but not even a clip of any movie was shown.
- They had Bally Saggo, but not a single Remix of Bally was played.
- They had Javed Akhtar's comments, but no one mentioned that they did an album "Sangam" together, and no clips from that.
- They mentioned that he fused western music, but not a single song of that was played. They played only clips from some live concerts.
