The experts on sexual orientation believe that there is a genetic component.
Take a look at "Pas de Deux of Sexuality is Written in the Genes" and also "OP-ED: Is It a Choice? A Scientist's View" (Dean Hamer in The Advocate 07/14/11).

I looked into that "soy makes you gay" claim before and it seems to originate with an elderly preacher. No science or studies there.
Chinese and Japanese diets are based on soy, but there is no evidence that there are more LGBT Chinese or Japanese.
That there is a relationship between Bisphenol-A and homosexuality is being promoted by Alex Jones and other conspiracy theorists.

There is evidence of homosexuality going back at least 10,000 years. Way before there was any Bisphenol-A or other such chemicals.
It has been scientifically proven, in studies going back over 20 years that there is a genetic component of homosexuality. We know this from twin and sibling studies.
I recommend a book: "Gay, Straight, And the Reason Why: The Science of Sexual Orientation," by Simon LeVay (2010).

He wasnt against the CRA in regards to the segregation, it was the property rights issues and individual freedoms/privacy issues. The CRA spilled over into every facet of life and robs people of certain rights at the same time, contradicting its purpose. If someone owns private land and a private business, they should have the right to allow WHO they want in there. That is what freedom means.
