Don't know how well the movie thing would work out, but it'd be great to see this series animated, where all sorts of things could be done with it and the storyline could be more closely followed without very high of a budget.

I've not read any of the republished books, but it's good that they have done that; there've been some "updates" to the current culture in them that I'm not as sure about though. |:

@DAN5675able though the first book did have a KASU moment, when Jake mor[hed homer, not only was he neutered, but he had Homer's memories. in a later book, Tobias and Ax tried to morph into steers, but became bulls instead.

I loved the books as a kid and was thrilled when I herd the show was gonna be out but it fell short of the vision of the books thanks to a lack of vision in bringing it to life

@Runescapec99 I think they might, seeing they are reprinting the series in 2011. Then, it might get famous again and hopefully they won't give it to nickelodeon. Mostly becuase of their strict rules. No blood,nothing to scare kids 8 - 10 (Like Invader Zim.), no bad bad language, etc.

@LadyAlister In the books it's stated that you feel absloutly nothing during the morphing process. It's still kinda freaky though. (Though if humans made something like this today, I don't think they would be able to make it pain free... >.<)

i am a MASSIVE fan of the booksm theyre amasing, but i watched the first 10 minutes of episode 1 and uuurrrgh.

obvs the effects etc are rubbish, but they cant help that its pretty old, but what annoyed me is that i could tell immediatley that they had changed all the characters etc and ruined it!!! :(

seriously, they should revamp the first book into a movie, WITHOUT killing it!! i mean, theyre old enuff now that they can be introduced 2 a new generation of fans without annoyin the originals.

They should republish the books. Make a movie with the first ten books in it, then a sequal with the next ten, and so on. But first things first, the books have to get published again. They don't publish them anymore. These books diserve to live on. If u agree, then vote me up. @PJOpwns i think the first ten bks in one film is too much story line, but i love the idea!!!! totally they should make a movie. im just young enuf that i remembr the craze about them bein around when i was about 4 or 5. so noone my age knows what im on about but i am addicted!! everyone needs a movie which is loyal to the bks, and has good effects and that would b awesome.

I know.. I read nearly the entire book series years ago, when they made it into the tv show I was kinda...disappointed. For one thing, Ax was just ridiculous, I think I remember them using a box for his head. But I agree with y'all, making a new, high-tech series would be sweet.
