we in the UK had these 1970-71 & 1971-72 seasons shown throught the 80s on the BBC - with the 1972-73 season following - whilst we had the the 1968-70 seasons shown continuosly from '78 to '89 - saw them again whilst holidaying in the U.S. on varous stations - Thanks for posting these!!!!
Last this was shown was recently on the Hallmark Channel as "Bonanza:The Lost Episodes",which contain the episodes of Bonanza from 1969 until 1973. This theme was for the 1969-70 season,and again for the 1970-71,and 1971-72 season. David Rose composed the theme score.
Thanks for posting this rarely-seen opening. It was not shown for most of 15 years until the 90's on The Family Channel. Now it's out of circulation again.
