  • Thank you for doing what you do

  • Good work, keep it up, I work in the meat dep of walmart and you wouldn't believe me how much food is wasted weekly.

over 200lb of meat from a conservative guess, with more than 85% of them were edible if you cook it well. not to mention there are deli, and produce.

Walmart don't allow their employee to take out the damage products, so I can only watch them being wasted.

most of the meat were wasted due to poor package and expiry date, but they are edible if you cook them good.

  • Wow, excellent facts and info there... I once worked for a different organization, non-food related, where we were instructed by management to trash our goods rather than donate them.

Ah, hell, I'll say it... Borders Books. I can't tell you how many books, magazines and stationary we were told to deface and shred prior to tossing in the dumpsters out back. While books aren't exactly a necessity of life, they can alternatively feed the spirit. I no longer support this company.

  • Astounding, and here I was worried that we'll be out of food in a few days with no way to get more.

  • Good work!
