Yea wario land 2 is very fun, I've started playing it again i beat it 100% before and now im going back and playing it again all over. if you beat the game at least once(theres like 5-6 ways to beat it) in the first level you can press nothing and wario will stay asleep and you win! but

That "hidden path" in the first level you mentioned about was most likely the first hidden story path in the game. It's pretty simple to get, whilst Wario is sleeping leave the controller alone for a while and it'll trigger another scene and unlock an alternate story (albeit short) =P.

Anyway, nice to see a playthrough of this game from you.

But to master this jump to the next plattform, you have stand on the ledge of the first plattform then do the charge-attack and jump.

You were to far back, so the charge-attack was already to weak as you jumped.
