  • I was looking into this business about 3 weeks ago, since then I have found too many red flags, as people put it, that I personally think the risk is beyond risk. I mean look at the income statement the company provides. Most everyone except maybe 4% make money. Then with the FTC operation empty promise thing going on and N.C. investigation, sorry but you can't avoid noticing that.

  • Hey all what happed to the guy at the beginning of this video Trey Knight? You know the guy who said “You’re gonna get paid $100,000 a year for doing exactly what you do today.” This guy wa a big time leader in FHTM and now he and his team left.

  • BBB receives more complaints this month. They are up to five so far this year. They received 23 last year. 76 total complaints in the past three years. Why does it have to take the BBB to get the complaint resolved? Oh let me guess the FHTM rep repsonse, "lazy, broke, whiners." These complaints do not include what the State A.G.s receive. BBB does include Government actions on the report.

  • Looking more into FHTM, so what happened with FHTM and the DSA?

  • @arenareyla that is correct, the FTC and a few attorney generals are going after scams that target financially-strapped consumers. Look up Operation Empty Promises and then look up State Actions. FHTM is on this list. FHTM was never accepted after two-three years of trying to become a member with the DSA. I think the Operation Empty Promises FTC investigation prevented them membership. I think the class action lawsuits didnt' help matters either.

  • @bledsify that is a lie, FHTM has been in the top 100 with the DSA for some time.

  • @fugue26 Please provide where you get your information that FHTM has been in the top 100 with the DSA for some time. I went to the DSA website and FHTM is not listed. In fact FHTM tried to be listed with them for 3years and DSA would not have them.

  • @fugue26 the number to the DSA is 202-452-8866. Call them if you don't believe the truth. They will tell you that FHTM has NEVER been a member and has been denied membership and then FHTM pulled their app in the last few months. There are only 200+ companies who have even been approved by the DSA for their legal standings and their ethics. Even The DSA could see that FHTM is a scam so NO they are not in the top of anything except the FTC list of scams.

  • @fugue26 are you kidding, DSA? I can't stop laughing. Thanks for the joke! That made my night. I still laugh every time I look at FHTM's income disclosure statement.

  • @fugue26 Where do u get your info? A comic book? FHTM was not accepted by the DSA and they had to take down their info about DSA that was on their website. Sounds like FHTM doesn't fit DSA's Code of Ethics...."The DSA Code of Ethics speaks to both the consumer and the seller. It ensures that member companies will make no statements or promises that might mislead either consumers or prospective sales people." source DSA I would be questioning why didn't FHTM get accepted.

  • @bledsify I looked at the Operation Empty Promises by the FTC a few mins ago. Things don’t look promising for this company, I hate to say. Just looking at other FHTM videos, the reps get belligerent when asking a question or providing the facts. One lady commented on a video I found on youtube about her whole family hates anything to do with this business. This video showed the inside of a RV. I couldn't help but think how many people at the bottome (95%) put there at the half of one percent.

  • Did I read right, this company is being investigated by the FTC and has several class action suits?

  • Dude tried to get me today. He told me don't look on the internet. lol

  • I guess it doesn't matter how long a MLM scheme has been around, Herbalife was labeled an illegal pyramid scheme in Belgium recently. Why? Missing customers and huge drop out rate. Most everyone loses money that signs up because they will always remain at the bottom of the pyramid no matter what you do. Sound familiar? Look at the companies income disclosure statment and you be the judge. Not hard to figure that one out.

  • @Scottjj08 So if the Belgian court rejects salespeople qualifying as retail customers, what does that say about FHTM? You know that most of the reps are their own customer in FHTM. Their famous sales pitch, is "it's stuff you already use so why not be your own customer and get paid for it." And to think, the actions on Herbalife started out much like FHTM, with class action lawsuits. Makes you think!

  • glad i checked this out have a guy after me to attend a meeting i will now tell him how nuts he is

  • @ganoom59 The troubles for FHTM is not over yet.

  • Love the new website shown under the video fhtmscamnews. Lots of great facts on that site. One has to think is FHTM about to sell out? For one Xoom energy part of ACN second which I don't know if anyone's has brough this up, but the former AG from the early 90s, today licensed attorney, representing FHTM are also in charge of ACN legal board. So the question is out there?

  • sounds like ACN

  • So you pay and then subscribe to a service or two. $199 annual renewal fees. Then recruit people to pay up the same thing and all you get a small percentage in return. Scam.

  • I was approached by some FHTM peeps not to long ago, I told them I would look into it and do research. The sales rep then warned me that google's results weren't trustworthy. The stupid fucks.

  • @MrDJHarbinger Wal-Mart has an F rating with the better business bureau, is it a scam? A BBB score can be purchased for a better rating. You're an idiot.

  • @fugue26

Actually Wal-Mart stores has an A+ rating with the BBB.

  • @divabikinis I concur! The FHTM reps are running out of excuses. Another thing, the corp office is not even accredited and they have more complaints than FHTM, but no Government actions. Go figure!

  • @fugue26 DUDE! Look up the BBB site and you will see that Walmart does NOT have an F rating! For petes sake get the story right before you open your mouth!

  • @fugue26 Why would you lie? Why would you call people names? You FHTM reps are really sounding desperate.

  • @MrDJHarbinger Yes, I just had someone say the same thing to me about Google being an "opinion farm". When I started explaining that I owned a Marketing Company (Chad Austin Marketing & Media Design) who helps companies with Search Engine Optimization and Google Search results, and to say that Google's results weren't "trustworthy" is complete ignorance. I don't want to keep someone from doing business, but rather educate the masses who will get sucked into this pyramid scheme.

  • the class action suit was for a traditional business, imagine if people got together on the surcharge on the checks for a scheme. I've heard there are a few reps looking into this already. Not sure of the status.

  • I think I read how FHTM charges $3 for every check issued. Not sure what the amount was, or if they are still doing it, but my point similar to this, a $25 million class action suit was just won because people where being charged an undisclosed surcharge. Food for thought

  • The Better Business Bureau drops FHTM's rating to a D+ and includes the recent Government actions in Texas.

  • Latest***********The Texas Attorney General Assurance of Voluntary compliance doc. says (FHTM agrees to pay up to $1,300,000 in direct economic benefit to Claimants as defined in the Assurance of Voluntary compliance AVC) including an additional $200,000 in Attorney Fees & cost of investigation.

  • Anyone living in Texas that was in FHTM?

Notice of Settlement Procedures for State of Texas v. Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing

You have up until November 28, 2011 to claim a settlement payment.

    WOW!!!!

  • Oh Jerry, you are so very wrong, there are alot of Ag's after them. Then there are all of the other investigator with lawfirms who are suing them. You only say this because you are so into trying to be one of Pauls cronies.People ,if only 4% or less makes money then you should be able to see how crooked this is. THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN MAKE MONEY IS BY RECRUITING!! Jerry, I dare you to post what you have made in bonuses versus residual income while with the company, the truth shall set you free!

  • @dayandcompany I bet you would be shocked at the percentage my residual income is to my total income. I wont post it tho..that's not allowed!

  • @jerrymarcellormcfhtm Executed by Gov. Blow-dry?? Not a chance.

  • The Operation Empty Promises against scams was just release earlier this year. The investigation is ongoing, nothing has been cleared yet. I'm sure it would no longer be on FTC's website if it was cleared with an explanation of their findings.

  • @Tammyflavor You are right Tammy! The FTC still has on their website that they are under investigation, now they would not have this on there if it were not true! See the Dand B report where their credit rating is not what they tell everyone on fhtmclasaction.info to check out al of the new updates!

  • All this info can be found on the FTC website including the list FHTM made.

  • In a press conference at the FTC, David Vladeck, Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, was joined by Tony West, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division of the Department of Justice; Greg Campbell, Deputy Chief Inspector of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service; North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper; and a California consumer who had bought into a program to start his own Internet business.

  • I join FHTM not to long ago but now I know is a scam can someone help me get my money back and also make sure that other people don't fall for this.

  • @GreatNationRecords I believe you have 10 days to contact t the company to request a refund. Most work at home schemes give you 30days but Fortune is 10days. Hurry! It seems everyone is leaving including people like Jim and Betty Miles.

  • @Tammyflavor Thanks I contact the company and the "customer service" people are horrible I waited 20mintues to speak with them and then they tried to rush me off the phone when I told them I wanted a refund. I will make sure my friends and other people wont fall for this.

  • Can someone plz tell me how I can get my money plz!!! :( step by step plz!!!

  • Someone said Dish is building a full line call center next to FHTM HQ to handle the flood of customers. The truth Allconnect Inc. plans to spend nearly $7 million to open a 32,000-square-foot in-bound sales and customer support center on the Coldstream Research Campus in northern part of Lexington, KY, that handles calls for AT&T, Dish Network, DirecTV, Time Warner Cable and Verizon. Not Dish, but Allconnect Inc; not next to FHTM, but 15 mins North from FHTM HQ. Debunked!

  • The FTC says FHTM is an Operation Empty Promise business and when you look at FHTM's own income disclosure statement, then you will see why the duck goes quack quack. Most people will go broke doing this scam.

  • @bwells40

Funny... I do this and I have recruited no one yet I make a great commission off the home security system sales...50% to be exact...I have even donated money to my neighborhood watch programs for helping me promote them...Some scam...

  • Sold her business to join FHTM, I'm not a rep but isn't like $299 to join? What the heck she must have had a lemonade stand. That's some horrible reporting there!

  • use this tool to improve your biz its awesome autocashbotplan com

  • if this guy would have put as much time and effort into actually working the business as he did trying to make a bad name for the company... He would have actually gone somewhere. to bad he only made himself look bad. haha

  • THANK YOU FOR POSTING!!!! FHTM IS A SCAM AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!!!

  • when you do your research look at this video and other media coverage done over the past year. Look at what State Attorney Generals have to say and the FTC. See if there are any lawsuits. Most of the court doc. can be found online. Look to see if any States have shut them down and for what reason. Check the BBB in the State the company is located in. Look at the companies income disclosure statement. And remember if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

  • "black arts of mass deception, mind control, camouflage, diversion, and evasion" are all tactics used to lure in the desperate an wary. Just look at FHTM presentation over the past 10 years. They claimed they was debt free, but when you look at the "FACTS" that was never true. How about reps desperately trying to deceive potential recruits by saying FHTM has the highest rating currently with D&B (3A1 rating) and is growing faster than Microsoft. Again facts prove it to be all lies.

  • (FTC ) Pyramid schemes now come in so many forms that they may be difficult to recognize immediately. However, they all share one overriding characteristic. They promise consumers or investors large profits based primarily on recruiting others to join their program, not based on profits from any real investment or real sale of goods to the public. Some schemes may purport to sell a product, but they often simply use the product to hide their pyramid structure.

  • @ rollinrex type in pyramid scheme in youtube and educate your close minded ways and watch a simple 4minute video. By the way every company will always prospect and obligate you to sign up people to get paid more. dont respond until you watch it.

  • @michaeljoel0306 (FTC) There are two tell-tale signs that a product is simply being used to disguise a pyramid scheme: inventory loading and a lack of retail sales. Inventory loading occurs when a company's incentive program forces recruits to buy more products than they could ever sell, often at inflated prices. If this occurs throughout the company's distribution system, the people at the top of the pyramid reap substantial profits, even though little or no product moves to market.

  • @michaeljoel0306 (FTC) The people at the bottom make excessive payments for inventory that simply accumulates in their basements. A lack of retail sales is also a red flag that a pyramid exists. Many pyramid schemes will claim that their product is selling like hot cakes. (However, on closer examination, the sales occur only between people inside the pyramid structure or to new recruits joining the structure, not to consumers out in the general public.)..last line, prime example of FHTM.

  • I went to one of these meetings tonight for a friend. I kept asking her to explain it but she said she couldn't it was best to see it so I went.. Once they started talking I knew what it was. They flash these nice cars and money values at you and tell you how hey are doing and so on to get you interested but I do not fall for that stuff. They wanted you to pay RIGHT then, um no I do my research sorry. Im not that blind. I will have to forward this to my friend but I fear she wont watch it.

  • HIM THAT HATH UNDERSTANDING LISTEN TO THIS VIDEO--IT IS TRUE!!!!!! FAKE FRAUD DECEIT!!!!!!!!!!! I "jloined' in JanuarY 2011-GLAD I DID--I am OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!! 'TRAINING '-WHICH THEY FOCUS IS BRAINWASHING!!!!!!

  • W.C. FIelds was right; There is a sucker born every minute.

  • I went to one of their meetings a few weeks back. It's the biggest pyramid scheme if I ever saw one. These people would garage qualify themselves on products sold in order to earn the bonus money when getting others to join. The people where only interested in who I knew that I could bring to the meeting. They wasn't interested in finding customers. Jjrifle I wished I would of caught your tip note sooner. At least I didn't give in.

  • ignorant. You have no idea what a pyramid scheme is,i have been a ceo of a fairly large corporation&that was the biggest pyramid scheme i have ever been in as well as the military when i was once a soldier.A pyramid scheme(ponzi scheme) is where there is no product or service offered&the ONLY money that will ever be paid for is signing up people&you can never get to the top.Warren buffet&other billionaires state you are either lazy or ignorant by not joining this industry i see which you are.

  • @michaeljoel0306 you seem to be the ignorant one, claiming to be a ceo. LOL There is a clear distinction between Corpations and MLM. In a normal company, all employees make money. Some more, some less. But they all make money. And the people at the bottom aren’t paying the people at the top. Everyone works, and everyone gets paid based on the “value” of the job which both the employer and employee agree to in the form of wages and benefits. In a multi-level marketing structure,

  • @michaeljoel0306 most of the people do not make any money. They are not getting paid for their efforts. They are “paying to play.” There are a handful of highly compensated people at the top making huge money, a slightly larger handful of people who are making a living wage, a much larger handful who are not making enough to survive on much less provide even a respectable part-time income, and the vast majority are losing money.

  • @funkyjayone That;s what I was thinking lol

  • I have found that the fhtmclassaction website does a remarkable job of exposing all misrepresentation on FHTM and much more.

  • Anyone can file a Lawsuit, Each case is unique. As such, look into each case. I have looked into some of the case's and have found major fault's on the people who joined. anyone in FHTM must follow company guidlines to stay in the law. I have heard this is were the legal issues arise from. So dont just take what is posted on the net as truth (bad or Good)

  • @kermit1fl Reps did follow company guidelines. They use to say FHTM was debt free because that is what was in the presenation, they use to say they was partnered with fortune 500 companies, they use to say they had a 3A1 rating with D&B, they use to say they was featured in Forbes. All this was found to be nothing more than smoke n mirrors. Research will reveal the truth. I-Team Investigation, USA Today, Class Action, Montana State Auditor, the new lawsuit all expose so much of the lies!!!

  • Like a lot of Media's, they only show bits and pieces of the whole story! I have seen several BP’s and this News release leaves out the rest of the story, giving FHTM a bad rep. At every BP I have been to, they have said you have to work hard to make it., and they tell you how and where you make the big bucks. As in any venture one would enter into with, do your home work before you give up your job to work a Network marketing Program Full Time. Make sure you validate the bad claims also.

  • @kermit1fl

Hard work has nothing to do with your potential success......which will be nothing after you realize the real deal.

  • 3rd lawsuit filed in Dallas, Texas on June 16th. Combs V. FHTM

  • FHTM's IDS Red flag #9 (what a shocker!!!!)

  • FTC hit list Operation Empty Promises Red Flag #1, Texas, NC, Kentucky Attorney General fully investigating Red Flag #2, Lies about being debt free and having special relationships with tier 1 companies Red Flag #3, FHTM paying a million to Montana for pyramiding Red Flag #4. Tier 1 companies leaving FHTM Red Flag #5 USA Today article with FACTS!!! Red Flag #6, ABC I-Team Investigation Red Flag #7, top reps like former Sec of State for SC leaves FHTM Red Flag #8

  • And those who say pyramid scam are lacking knowledge. Your job is probably a pyramid. You work for your boss who gets paid more than you, he works for his boss who gets paid more off the work you and your boss does, then ect ect... So who is really in the pyramid? It takes work to make this work.

  • Lol if you think this is a scam your probably the bitter person who thought if you got 3 people to sign up you were going to get rich over night. I have been doing this for 6 months now and actually working on it part time. I'm at 4k a month right now and growing. Patience is the key. You can't make excuses and make money at the same time. The products are a minor part in the business but it does help. I got everyone to sign up and to buy there cable and phone through themselves. Your paying fo

  • @callmenate100 Well said. Keep up the good work. I've been in it for the past 2 months and almost to RSM. I'll see you at the top.

  • @callmenate100 and you dont feel bad that you are ripping people off? that's who's paying your 4k. this is so stupid and a major scam. all these pyramid scams should be shut down!!!

  • @NEAVINCAPE07 your right this is a SCAM NO ONE DO IT.. there you go little guy now go to bed.

  • ARTICLE ON NEW JERSEY LAW: SELLING THE RIGHT TO SELL THE SAME RIGHT TO SELL: APPLYING THE CONSUMER FRAUD ACT, THE UNIFORM SECURITIES LAW AND THE CRIMINAL CODE TO PYRAMID SCHEMES...My friend came to me offering this marketing deal... This was my first question. Please inform yuor self pzzzz. :/)

  • Thank you so much for posting this. I was in the process of signing up when I figured I better do more research first. Then I just found this video. Whew!!!!

  • From what I have read - FHTM finally drops its BS lawsuit against Isaacs. It's about time.

  • this went through the toyota plant Georgetown back in 2001 I think. Fortune had there big show in Rupp Arena. People were signing up like crazy., but after about a year the recuiting slowed and it was over. I dont know a single person thats still involved in it today, not one. Only the people at the top will make any money.

  • Why does everyone pick on "divabikinis" for merely posting the ABC news broadcast that exposed the FHTM Ponzi Scheme? In Europe, Paul Orberson is the laughing stock of the MLM world. Nobody successful would touch him with a 10' pole.

  • This video celebrates its 1 year anniversary with over 48,000 views from all over the world. Thanks for all of the positive feedback since last year.

  • I went to a meeting in London last week and the top reps there say the US regulators have shut down FHTM. Are they still operating in Canada?

  • I find that the people complaining about a network marketing company are usually the people that are not willing to work for it. Anyone that would sell their business BEFORE being successful at ANY other business isn't working with a full deck!!! I know plenty of reps that work very hard, and are making plenty of money doing so. Any claims brought against the company are found to be unwarranted. I pay the SAME amt for DISH and other svcs thru FHTM as I paid BEFORE, there is NO hike in prices!

  • @klward129 If you read the blogs the person that you are talking about got screwed by FHTM and their sponsors with forgery and Fortune would not do anything about it. Their attorney said they had a great case but it was against an illegal company. Almost every company they rep for you are charged an extra fee so you are being screwed dude! All of the poor people who used Travelosity and paid those fees when FHTM got it all for free should get their money back!

  • @klward129 And just because people are making money does not mean that it is legal. Just ask a drug dealer or an attorney!

  • @klward129 Just because people are making money does not mean it's legal. Drug dealers are not legal but they make alot of money! When you make the list from the FTC that you are being investigated , you really need to seriously look at what is going on, Just because they have not been closed down yet does not mean they are legal. It took many years before Madoffs deal fell apart and this one is only a matter of time too. It is a house of cards and you my friend have been delt a loosing hand.

  • @klward129 I talked with this lady and she sold her business after she became one of the fastest growning Reg in the company. She made it to the exec position from Reg in two months. She never got her check, and after many calls to sponsors and home office is when she found out that her sponsors had changed documents and they got paid her money. She went to an attorey who said she had a great case, it was just against an illegal company.I believe she is the lead plantiff in the class action now.

  • @ncbubba2010 you just have to work with the RIGHT people. That's it.

  • You can't assume logos on this outdated video are current, as we are always looking for companies that will give us better income, and better products. GE Security was replaced some time ago, with a much better security company that uses advanced technology not yet in use by the majority of other security companies. The only place the GE logo was still being used is on this video! FHTM hired top lawyers from the start -to be sure they always are in compliance with any laws.

  • @klward129

P.S. FHTM has never been in compliance with any laws anywhere!!!!!!

GE logo isnt used anymore after they issued a cease and desist against FHTM and demanded they stopped using it illegally.

  • @divabikinis you couldn't be more wrong not only is it a multi-national operation, it is operating with zero debt in the middle of an american depression. it also has an "A" rating with the better business bureau. again, check your facts!

  • @JuniorCubed Where do you get your information. BBB gives FHTM a C- They spend most of 2010 with an F rating because of many Government actions. FHTM debt free, how do you know? What proof do you have? Maybe you need to check your facts Junior!

  • @PhillipnIreland Did you also know that the BBB harasses and bullies businesses into BUYING A ratings??? Dateline did a special on it you should Google it... LOL

  • This video gives an inaccurate view of FHTM. It costs only $99 ONE TIME to join. Current companies represented do have agreements with us even though they may not be called "direct sales agreements", and are all aware of that representation. In fact DISH Network hosts a Monthly TV show for FHTM. Do you really think DISH would host a show for a pyramid scam that involved them? Their lawyers would not allow them to do so.

  • @klward129 At the time the video was made it was $299 to join. Verizon, AT&T, GE, Travelocity, DuPont and others have dumped FHTM because of the pyramid they are. You sound like the perfect cult follower. Dish does not host a TV show for FHTM. FHTM has bought airtime on DIsh to promote its crap. You are very miss-informed about the true inner workings of FHTM. The only companies that have any kind of direct relationships is the dog food and crappie vitamin company that is owned by Paul.

  • @divabikinis

AT&T is still a very big part of FHTM. The point is do you really think DISH would allow themselves to be part of that if it were a scam? NOT - I think you are the one that sounds ignorant here. You are obviously someone who got burned by network marketing because you weren't successful. Just from reading your posts, I can see you are a bitter negative person. People like you grasp at straws to find someone else to blame for your own failures, and bring others down with them. Sad!

  • @klward129 lame - That is exactly how FHTM operates. They break the law and blame the reps. They get caught they blame the reps. They cant take a crap - they blame the reps. AT&T is NOT a part of FHTM. Where the heck do you live? We never got burned by network marketing - which is a great business. FHTM, however is a bunch of crooks. We are the failures here..the thousands that get into FHTM and work their asses off so Orberson can become wealthier.........You have no clue

  • @klward129 You need to contact FHTM and find out that you are wrong dude! You are very ill informed and when TMobile gets with them they will loose that too. Just ask the poor guy who posted that he lst over 20 points in one day because FHTM lost Att and he was pissed because even though he did the work FHTM got the pay and now he will have to find a way to replace those points with things no one wants. Has anyone ever seen a check from the Rewards mall? It is because it does not happen! Scam!

  • Great video by ABC news in Kentucky! I was amazed to hear that many of the alleged partner companies say there is no direct sales agreement with FHTM and that in a letter, GE Security thanked the Montana State Auditor for bringing to their attention the fraudulent use of their logo. Ouch!!!!! I've been reading some of these comments and I'm curious what is going on with FHTM and the FTC along with the Attorney Generals from North Carolina and Texas? Anything new?

  • @more5790

All of the investigations you mention are still active and being pursued. No additional cease and desist orders have been issued by a regulatory authority this year but the year isn't over. Watch for an update news investigation from Fox11 in LA tonight. More to come.

  • I am a rep for FHTM and The fees for being in the business are not correct according to this video... I don't make no .20 for any of the things that I sell.

  • @lancej778 Obviously not a very sharp one. Maybe you neglected to notice this was from last May when the average commission was 1/2% through level 7

  • I'm glad I did some research before I commited. After reading the USA Today article, researching the FTC website and watching this video I didn't want any part of something it. The person who shared this with me decided to to get out as well after what I learned.

  • What ABC forgot to mention was that Mr. Isaacs was kicked out of FHTM due to him trying to sell internet porn through his website. I have been in FHTM for the months already and made more than 16 dollars in residuals and around 3k each month. If this is a scam then its a good paying one so far. Don't believe everything this jerk off that didn't read the rules says. Also, when someone says that this is something you wont succeed at, ask them how much work they did. It's like any other job.

  • @Pagliarulo22 No what ABC forgot to mention is the number of companies leaving FHTM product line, that FTC has put the company on their operation empty promises list, that Texas and N.C. A.G.s are probing FHTM, the two pending class action lawsuits from cost to cost. Red flag after red flags! The lastest that FHTM was never debt free and they haven't had a 3A1 rating with D&B since 2004 is an awesome find. I tip my hat to the hard work these people are doing to expose the truth.

  • This opportunity is not for everyone, so if you cant succeed in it then its like you failed or on a job stand point got fired, so of course you will be mad. It is obviously not for you, but there is nothing about this that is a pyramid, if you work your butt off and share this opportunity with others, of course you will move up in the company, kinda like a raise. This is no different then any other job, FHTM pays you to recruit people just like a "referral fee" of a "bird dog"

  • @elisha801 What kind of drugs are you on. People are pissed because FHTM operates a scam, not because they didnt succeed. You do however sound like the perfect poster child for their cult. You have all of the buzz words down pat. FHTM is illegal and you need to wake up and stop drinking the "kool-aid".

  • @divabikinis well now we know what type of person you are, maybe your negativity and accusing people of being on drugs is the reason you did not succeed. Either way where is your facts that it is legal??? I didnt write that comment to get such a immature response back, I simply was explaining the other side of the story. You apparently are one of those people who take it to another level. I just got paid from my "legal" company with a business license so I am good :)

  • @divabikinis well apparently you were one of those that didnt succeed ! and your immature response tells it all. Either way i wanted to just explain the other side, but apparently i am dealing with a very immature person. I would just like to know, how is this illegal??? I would love to bring it to my lawyer friend ( whom is a FHTM regional) to explain this so we can all know the truth !! Lying is not good, you should get your facts straight before accussation !

  • @elisha801 I have been more successful in life, in business and FHTM than 99% of those still in it. You speak the same BS and rhetoric as all of the other folks in this scam. What research have you done to prove they are legal. They pay for recruiting (regardless of minimal product sales) That is illegal. Go read all of the information at fhtmclassaction dot info I couldnt care less if you stayn in FHTM. I have chosen an ethical and moral path which doesnt include Paul Orberson and his cult.

  • @divabikinis I keep hearing illegal. How is it the company is still in business ten years later in fifty states How is it that the product menu keeps growing? How is it that the names on that product screen represent legitimate services for fortune 500 companies at competitive prices? Its not a secret or in the closet. What I see is a legitimate MLM business.

  • @seasons73 You asked so I guess I'll help you out. Look up "Operation Empty Promises" on the FTC website. FHTM is on that list. Legitimate MLMs didn't make the list, only FHTM did. Hope that helps.

  • @Tammyflavor List in one state? That FHTM is no longer being investigated for? That's a list of companies being investigated, not guilty ones.

  • @jerrymarcellormcfhtm The Federal Trade Commission today stepped up its ongoing campaign against scammers who falsely promise guaranteed jobs and opportunities to “be your own boss” to consumers who are struggling with unemployment and diminished incomes as a consequence of the economic downturn.

  • @jerrymarcellormcfhtm Operation Empty Promises,” a multi-agency law enforcement initiative today announced more than 90 enforcement actions, including three new FTC cases and developments in seven other matters, 48 criminal actions by the Department of Justice (many of which involved the assistance of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service), seven additional civil actions by the Postal Inspection Service, and 28 actions by state law enforcement agencies in Alaska, California, Indiana, Kansas,

  • @jerrymarcellormcfhtm Maryland, Montana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Washington, and the District of Columbia.

  • @Tammyflavor NORTH CAROLINA was the only state. Nothing came of it. Nothing going on in Maryland, Montana is 2009 and we're ok there now. Nothing in NJ (I know the AG personally), Oregon, Washington, DC, nice try!

  • @jerrymarcellormcfhtm Jerry, I know alot of people who have talked to the Ags and the FTC so you may know "an" AG but he may not be able to tell you that they ARE working on this case.

Now, go to the DSA website and you will see they not members and are not even pending any longer. They refused to allow them in because they still dont meet the standards of legal networking. How with all of the lies exposed all of these preachers can stand there and continue to tell lies to Churches? It is sad

  • @jerrymarcellormcfhtm Nothing came of it? Try again, N.C. joined efforts with Attorney Generals in the USA, Department of Justice, and other multi-agency law enforcement to crack down on scammers. FHTM hasn't been cleared by the FTC or AGs yet. Nice try!

  • @Tammyflavor copying the text from the site, good for you! Some charges have been filed on almost all the companies listed on that site...nothing filed against FHTM....nice try!

  • @Tammyflavor I can also see how Jerry is wrong. A little over seven months ago, the A.G. of North Carolina joined state attorneys general from across the country and the FTC on a nationwide crackdown on business opportunity scams and they listed FHTM after receiving, at that time, 25 consumer complaints. The FTC has a number of other companies they are currently working on, but it is on their list of companies that will be investigated. A.G. in N.C. says “currently under investigation.”

  • @Jjrifle52 Thanks! And OMG! All of the sudden! I knew the investigation was going on in Texas, now FHTM settles with the A.G. there and they settle for a lot. Sounds like Montana all over again without the cease and desist. Now I can't wait to see what my States has to say.

  • @Tammyflavor We settled for alot? Prove it.

  • @jerrymarcellormcfhtm Get a life and do your own due diligence. The info is not hard to come by.

  • I am sorry to hear that Paul Orberson´s mentor and God (Osama Bin Laden) has been killed by the American government this week. What will he profess next week.

  • Someone said that Fortune Hi-tech is being investigated by the FTC? Any insight? What is the FTC hit list?

  • @bledsify

You are correct. In conjunction with the NC AG (Operation Empty Promises) See list at fhtmclassaction dot info

  • @bledsify

Muy bueno. Esta compania muy grande SCAM!

  • Thats BS. Is that the best you can do to counter attack the lies that FHTM tells people like you to get you to join in their scam?

I know many that are very successful in other business and tried Fortune to only find out they were classified as a scam and there was no way for 99% to succeed. Your comments are elusive and counter-productive

  • This doesnt prove anything that hasnt happen in life and in the real world everyday. Not everyone is good at certain things even when someone get hired for a job it may not workout sometimes, either based on the job or the employee or BOTH. Fortune is no different if you dont have the drive to succeed then guess what, you WONT in this business or any other one.

  • I’m from the East coast and from what I’ve been hearing is that this business is a rip off and it’s ruining lives.

  • The recent events with the attorney generals across the states and FTC investigation..also known as(Operation Empty Promises) has opened the door to what is really going on in this scheme. That doesn't include the number of class action lawsuits pending. A lot of people are coming fourth because felt like they were mislead, tricked, conned, deceived, bamboozled, swindled, wheedled or ripped off.

  • I just signed up for FHTM & it's changing my life and my families lives. I don't know about y'all but i took a risk to better my future and my families future. If you call this company a "SCAM." Then your just fooling yourself. Be part of the company and EDUCATE yourself first, other then using your eyes and reading what other ppl are saying.

"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU KNOW!!!"

  • @jazpuhTV

ROFLMAO...I agree that you are changing your life and the life of your family....just not the way youy expect it to be. You havent made any money on residuals yet, you havent figured out how your expenses have outweighed your very limited income and you are a great cult member from reading your post. What ya gonna do when you lose your family and friends as well as tons of money? You will hide your head in the sand like all the rest of those that were scammed and disappear. Imagine

  • @divabikinis i respect your honesty. goodluck on what you do.

  • @jazpuhTV

PS. I am probably more educated on business than most. I have done my research and have decided not to affiliate with scammers and those who LIE about every aspect of their business. I dont consider listening to an FHTM leader research.....that is a joke.

  • Lets not forget if you was in FHTM and you are from North Carolina the N.C. Attorney General spokeswoman Noelle Talley said investigators are asking that anyone who has dealt with Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing to file a consumer complaint, either by calling 1-877-NO-SCAM or by filling out the complaint form online at the N.C. Dept of Justice website. Since March 2nd they have received 25 consumer complaints.

  • @Tammyflavor Great reminder. N.C. attorney general is asking N.C. residents to file their complaints. A tip note- If you get an unexpected call from a long lost friend, and they don't explain what they are inviting you to, but they sound so excited when they talk to you, most likely you have been targeted to a FHTM meeting. RUN!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Jjrifle52 I was just 'targeted' Wasn't told what I was going to...

  • @Tammyflavor Oh I know all about it. My husband and I own a real business by the bay and we had these two characters come into our store not to shop but solicit. We seen this business before so we know what it's like, but you can tell from these characters they are getting pretty desperate on finding new people to recruit. Times are tuff and people have heard all about it around here.

  • To everyone who does RESEARCH.... Here is one for you... Try to GOOGLE, "GOOGLE" you can't ! Now go to Yahoo and do a search of GOOGLE. You will find all the SCAMS, LAWSUITS, and all the same info about Google you are spreading about any MLM on there. Now Google the Company you work for..."OH MY" they aren't perfect either are they. Better not buy a Toyota? Banks? Government? On and On... Oh and probably something about the company you are working for too.

  • @krpprenger There is a difference between being perfect and being illegal!!! So if the banks screw you - that makes it ok for FHTM to do it to. Where are you from and what did you do prior to FHTM? Were you a ditch digger in Mississippi?

  • @krpprenger you are desperately grasping at straws .......sad but also funny, you all have nothing of value to add anymore. You can't messure up againts the mountain of problems FHTM has. I
