@hmaltravers Ronnie B was a writer. He submitted his sketches under another name so that the show's producers would hopefully use it because it was good not because it was his. They did!

@hmaltravers Ronnie Hazlehurst wrote some of their music (so it was Three Ronnies!). Ronnie Barker also wrote some scripts under the psedonym of Gerald Wiley.

@harlechnorthwales Barker's deffo putting on a Welsh accent, you can hear it from 3:40 in the "alive alive oh" section - althought I agree occasionally it slips into geordie. Corbett's trying some sort of accent but it sounds like his usual light scottish accent to me :)

@chriswales19 oh yes only just noticed that. I always loved this sketchand loved any sketch when they were dressed as woman being cheeky and coming out with naughty lines and lyrics. The lady pianist looks just like my old teacher Michelle Peak. What accent is it that they have got in this video? is it welsh or geordie?
