@TheDeadlife12 well I have reasons why this movie isnt as favorable as you'd expect. it's the first ghibli movie where joe hisashi isnt involved. being a retelling of the borrowers, it doesn't complete the entire story(theres like 3 more books after the borrowers). last but not least, most people didn't like the ending, which relates to the book thing. From my own perspective, it was really good, there were a few moments in the movie where tension holds really well.
