in response to craggle, i think its a funny point to see how many will talk about how you can get out of debt, but at the end of the program they are asking for money accepting all checks, and credit cards. I personally have not been affected by this, but however have known people who have been. I'm quite comfortable sowing money, tithes, offerings and vows into my local fellowship instead of sending my money across the world.

I can remember recently seeing a documentary on abc, and popoff happened to be up there, and they had exposed the scandal with the miricle water, and all that. The point is we should pray for the people who are not solid in their walk with God that they do fall for the scams.

in response to sideshowproductions, i don't even think that its fair to so much mock them. THey know what they are doing, and they just happen to be the false prophets that God said would come at this time. they know that God's judgement will fall on them. But did not God tell and warn us in 1 john 2 that there would be many false Christs?

okay, maybe i wasn't as clear as i could have been. Pretty much I believe that the job is for the believers is to pray for people like popoff ect. not only for him, but for the other televangelist who are seeking after money instead of souls for the kindgom...

None of these Evangelists who dies has ever come back.
It is the scriptures that say. And so, if The Bible is Sacred to Christians and over 2.5 Billion People in The west, tehn Srimad Bhagwat Gita is Sacred for us. Further, how can one say what they believe is superior over others belief? why cant these Evangelists take a leaf out ofthelives of Swami Vivekananda who did spread teh message of Hinduism to the world but without abusing and rebuking anyone's faith?
