i know it been awhile since any1 posted on this page but charlie ward was mike vick before mike vick and any other mobile quarterback u can think of. i mean he was untouchble in college, at least his last 2 years anyway. he could run with ease but he could also "tho it" better than any qb that was drafted that year. just look at the tape. And while you bullshitn i really think that he could have still been playin today....jus look at brett favre, charlie could run that offence with ease.

Thanks for posting this video. No where near as big as the "big" play later in the game, but just as memorable for me. I was late coming back from the concession stand at halftime and was standing at the top of the ramp watching this play. Still remember what the hot dog smelled like! (no homo)

NFL clubs were just very prejudice against the black running QB. He decided to play ball but his passion was football. The guy won the Heisman and the national chip for crying out loud. He should have been drafted in the first round.

I kinda have mixed feelings about if Ward should have gone NFL or not. He was one of, if not the greatest QBs in college, especially FSU. However look at the trend of Heisman players in the NFL. A vast majority of Heisman players (more so QBs) are utter failures in the NFL. I mean look at Chris Weinke's shitty NFL career or Danny Wuerffels nearly non existent NFL career and many other Heismans who has done nothing more then bench warm and get tossed around from team to team. Heisman is a curse.

always respected the knicks but now they only
