I live in Montana and I have to say that shooting elk in a canned hunt is no different than some of the Ranch owners here letting there buddies shoot the "pet" elk and Muleys on there property, and not letting the locals come on to take a chance on a bull

They did work for it I am sure the ranch wasn't free. Not everyone can just go out and spend time scouting, hiking, exercising, track and learn the art of stalking. Plus if someone is on a Ranch they are not in your spot.

I hunt in Tuscola County in the thumb and I bust my ass every year to ge the deer we have. Tell ya what, I bet I could out hunt any of your guides at kings mansion or even you zambe, you are not a true hunter! Must be nice to piss $20,000 on an elk raised in a high fence! Garentee it, the Michigan Elk hunt is for residents only and a lottery system that some would never get to experience. I hunt in Michigan and these people along with any high fence ranches are bull shit, they give us hunters a bad name as people who only kill deer or elk for there horns, not for the meat or for the experience

Hunting is when you go out on private or state land and shoot one not a ranch I call this cheat hunting.
