This was SO cool looking and SO fun. I nailed some guys with arrows, and quickly, 5 guys including the boss were attacking me...I did not realize at the time they had a quick path to me. I killed them all using my health draining warhammer. I had a level up coming, so I burned that to get back to max HP.  The commentator said something about a quest...there's a bounty on the pirates...this area alone makes me want to bump my initial review score up. Really amazing looking and fun.

ya its a quest after you turn off the light in the lighthouse you get that destination to finish the quest

To anyone who was wondering, you can use this place as a house to store items and live in, the bed isn't owned so you can use it, and there is a complete forge in there too. Thumb this up so others can see, terribly sorry to ask for thumbs.

You missed the mines. There is 2 Iron, 1 silver, and a corundum ore mines.

Someone probably already pointed it out, but if you do the quest "Lights Out!", it eventually leads you here, an there's extra loot in a chest that's not there unless you do the quest.

You can start the quest by speaking to "Jaree-Ra" in Solitude.

What worked really well for me was when I was at that spot that the video narrator was at the 2:40 mark, I went into sneak mode (My skill is a mere 32 for sneak, so nothing epic needed) and from that distance started casting Fury on them slowly, one at a time until only the Captain was left, then snuck up to the ship, a couple of Fire Runes and some Flames and was done.

I beat him on master by kiting lol. You can jump into the water to heal if you must.

yes i found the chest, also when i found this cave i was just random running. got a glass axe, staff of the familiar, greater soul gem 86 gold and a random shitty hunting bow

There is a ship next to the dock that is somewhat sunk, captain horgars key goes to a chest on that ship. contains Elven Mace of Ice, some gold, and Apprentice robes of Restoration. If you go to this cave during the lights out quest, you will also find Scaled Horn Armor and an Elven War Axe of Consuming.

that place where you said you're blocked off and can't get through there is a lever next to it you can pull to lower it. also the place is littered with chests with 50-80 gold. nice vid

it is a mission. if you extinguished the light house, and went back and talked to him, he would've sent you to meet his sister, and from meeting his sister, you then get the quest to go into the broken oar grotto.

I think you get the quest at Solitude, possibly from the Imperial trading Company guy there (I pick up so many quests at once it's hard to remember who gave them). As a mage, I'm having a lot of trouble with this one. I think I'm going to come back to it when I have some crowd control spells. I was one-hitting all the guys on the left side of the water, but the ones on the boat swarmed me before I could pick them off.

@Ichigo29440 its on the boat you can see at 5:44 but slightly covered by water, it's not got much in it though - not worth going back for to be honest :L
