they played this song in lubbock last week and all but like 2-3 songs off diamond eyes. absolutely phenomenal. this is one of my favorites. they didn't use any the echos effects like in this video.

it was a side date to blackdiamondskye tour. they played for an hour and a half. opened with back to school, followed by feiticeira. then they played diamond eyes, you've seen the butcher, beauty school, prince, rocket skates, sextape, risk, my own summer, be queit and drive, around the fur, change, elite, digital bath, hole in the earth, needles and pins!, and 7 words, not in that order. closed with root and engine no 9. chino dedicated risk to chi. best live show ever!

your all wrong, steph plays a ukelele, he uses a pitch shifter to get the low tone. chi plays a kazoo, its plugged into a Pod Fx to get those distorted bass notes, Abe is not really playing the drums either, its a monkey under the stage playing an old casio drum looper...so there you have it, the mystery is over

Actually your an idiot, He's said in interviews thats what he uses on that song and it's actually stated in A guitar world magazine he uses a 5 string. And if you look closely you can see the 5 bass strings and your can see the 5 Knobs on the end of the BAss. What music do you listen to that expresses emotion larger then life with ethereal echoes of vulnerability as well as a heavy unrelenting sound that never losses melodic basis. If you cannot like Deftones their is not much creative experimental rock/metal you can enjoy.

You obviously have no understanding of modern creative music yourself. Thuis band has garnered major critical acclaim especially from the underground side of music. They are unique not just in terms of composiion style but the lyrics are very distinctive and unique compared to an age of clones. The fact you live in the UK and never heard of this band shows you have little perception of music.

The UK has provided some great heavy hiters that have helped shape music (Joy Division, Pink Floyd, etc)but the UK has been responsible for some of the most worst and most overrated acts out. The Spice Girls or even hacks like The Sex Pistols are a prime example that the UK music scene much like the U.S. has the amazing but many more boring artist. Now they have this new revival of Blue Eyed Soul going on a very mainstream level that all sounds the same. You can keep Amy Whinehouse.
