I was super surprised when I first saw that Javert was black. I'm not racist at all, just suprised me. I had never seen a black Javert before. Was there one before Norm Lewis? As soon as I heard Norm's voice, i looked like this 0_0 Wow. He OWNS this!

I feel so much more power and aggression in the version. I also find it much easier to follow the story... there is more added in so the story isn't so 'chopped up' as some say.

It's good, but I feel like the tempo is way to fast. And they don't hold the notes out long enough. It's like: iknowthemeaningofthose 19 years aslaveofthelaw. Just in my opinion, the 10th is far better.

It's...decent. 10th Anniversary Dream Cast could kick the 25ths butt with the sound on mute. Not even the orchestra is up to par. Very, very, VERY disappointing

@TJ107201 Good. Definitely good as it really emphasises the change in Valjean. I mean at the start he's hard hearted and hateful...not to mention potentially dangerous. Mr Boe pretty much captures that perfectly, whilst still getting the softer, loving, humble side of Valjean later :) So yes. Good,

Alfie Boe is the best Jean Valjean ever. His hair is such a great color for Valjean. BTW, he has so many names he's known by: Jean Valjean, Valjean, 24601, Monsieur Madeleine, Monsiuer Mayor, and Monsieur le Mayor.
