  • Koks dainos pavadinimas? What's the song name? please answer, OSU!

  • 3:20... LIETUVA! LIETUVA! LIETUVA! epic moment

  • dude banging on drum is part of the greatest moments?

  • @seanincali1 Yep, cause you don't want to fight that guy.

  • what sucks about this is that everytime you are about to be countered or get in trouble you just do some kinda roll/kick and the ref stops the fight its irritating cause the other guy could kick your ass on the ground unless its a ko

  • @kleinesap thats why people love mma more because its more of a realistic battle were if you fall the're no ref that tells you to stop.

btw im not trying to insult karate i love this martial art and especially kyokushin

  • Grappling is effective and kyokushin isnt the complete martial art although it teaches not to rely on fighting on the ground, in other words a fight on the street should be over after one or two punches in the street if an attacker threaghtens an experienced stand up martial arts practitioner.eg kyokushin blackbelt. A good strong kyokushin fighter would be aware of his surroundings and not let a grappler even attempt a take down or attack in the street! Also type in youtube kyokushin in mma.

  • @resliph in ufc you just get your head beat till you cant think straight. Fighting isnt all about knockouts and i bet any that neither one of the ufc fighters could break concrete with his hand or leg. Hard Kyokushin training can give you the iron body. And i know that myself because i have been learnng kyokushin karate for 5 years.

  • @NesamoneKrcLT Being able to break concrete isn't going to stop a grappler from trying to tear your knee up.

  • Thumbs up if u r from lithuania and like Donatas Imbras :)

  • for all those that bash mma shut up...grappling has been proved to be a important aspect of fighting along with striking. Bashing grappling clearly states you have never been armlocked and choked

  • @f9hunter And the chances that you will be arm locked or choked?

  • @pastropmal you obviously haven't been been put in a leg lock.

  • @f9hunter You obviously have ever learned nothing but the words.

  • @pastropmal You obviously are just hurt that grapplers can tear any joint of a striker with no grappling experience at anytime. Yeah i respect the toughness of guys that compete in kyokushin and muay thai but all i'm saying is you gotta learn the ground game.

    nuf said.

  • @f9hunter Stop crying, no form of martial arts is better than another. It can be argued in a fight with no rules, grappling is more effective because it is more sustainable. It can be just as easily argued that a kick to the head is going to put anybody out, and that anyone doing Kyokushin, Muay Thai or any striking art would find it easier to get the first shot.

And if I have jumped in out of line and somebody else began attacking you for your opinion, I do apologise.

  • @GameFreakTV1 That makes sense but if you have watched the first few UFCs-where there were NO rules- grappling won. And he was what-170lbs? and was fighting guys over 200lbs who did various types of martial arts. All i'm saying is that is as real as a street fight as it got- and jiu jitsu won.

  • /watch?v=SCsX8Segp4w&feature=player_embedded check dis out and like if u like

  • you guys dont realise how much this actually hurts

  • i trained in this for over 11 yrs

  • UFC and Kyokushin are diferent things. BUT, kyukushin is nicer.

  • I dont disrepect those Kyokushin fighters (Im one myself) but UFC or some other MMA competition is something else. A ground fighter (like Judo) will last longer.

  • @legbreaker Not here, they won't =_=

  • I dont think you all get it, They wont last one round with a MMA fighter wether its in UFC , Strikeforce it doesnt matter. Only Kyokushin and no groundskills, against a MMA fighter doesnt get you far. So many kyokushin fighters in MMA, but they also are very experienced on the ground. So only striking is simply not enough. It doesnt matter how good you are. Ive seen 3rd dans kyokushin fighters putting to sleep by a MMA fighter who practiced only for a year. On the ground throw away that 3rd dan

  • @legbreaker Nah, I just sprawl and stand up fight.

  • @legbreaker I can not understand how "you all" don't get that we all don't care about the holy UFC. BTW A solid 3rd dan in kyokushin would lose for a noob in martial arts?? Now you're just cracking jokes.

  • @pastropmal

    No I didnt say that

But i said iv seen a 3rd dan Kyokushin put asleep not by a noob, but by a average skilled BJJ fighter. The fight went to the ground, and it was over for the karate fighter. Who was mastered as a stand up one dimensional fighter. BJJ fighter knew that so it wasnt hard for him to take the fight to the ground. that was his only opportunity. I also didnt say the BJJ fighter didnt took strikes and kicks, but he managed to end it on the ground with a busted nose btw

  • @pastropmal

And I also dont care about the holy ufc or strikeforce, just wanted to say strikes and kicks only doesnt say anything. Same like ground fighting only.. i wasnt bashing Kyokushin, no way Im a kyokushin fighter myself..But I train groundskills (BJJ) too..

  • @legbreaker "MMA fighter who has practiced only for a year" doesn't bring out what you meant very well. I think strikes and kicks only do say something when your good.

  • @pastropmal

true, as I said, It was not exactly what I meant

  • Muito foda cara *-*

    karate é fóda

    karate domina u_u

  • great vdeo man!

  • Awesome vid but it's shinkyokushin not kyokushin

  • How come these guys don't try to compete with the MMA fighters? I would like to see such a match on UFC.

  • @empathictempest79 They would play...but by their own rules. Too many rules in the UFC. If these fighters went in they would kill them.

  • @empathictempest79 Some don't consider UFC as the ultimate truth.

  • this martial art is so great i like beacuse i practice me to and i,m a champion

  • OS

  • 1:00 HEIL HITLER

  • This is amazing! way better than the UFC! ! They don't even wear gloves! It's like the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu of Karate! :)

  • ryu was in the finals?

  • They break baseball bats with ther shins as well up to 3. My mate has done it. Conditioning of the shins. In the world tournaments there is no weight division just like in the street if you have to fight, you dont say oh your bigger than me so Im going to let you kick the shit out of me.

  • Those flip kicks look cool, but outside of a points based fight it would be inadvisable to attempt. Minimal damage, blind spot, high probability of leaving you on the ground, high probability of your opponent remaining on their feet.

  • @sbowesuk kyokushin is full contact, the objective is the KO

  • wow, a 6'6 guy fighting a 6'2? that's just how stupid these tournaments are ¬¬

  • Nice

  • please take off the music

  • Amazing. Nuff said.

  • Why is he giving a facist salute at 1:00?

  • @00JakeR00 because he's a german in desguise

  • @00JakeR00.It is not a nazi salute, it is just a raised hand as he swears an ceremonial oath. Even in american courts you put one hand on the bible and raise the other in the air as you give oath the say the truth. The Nazi were not the first or the only ones to use that gesture. in fact they deliberately copied it from history (from the romans).

  • is kyokushin kumite like the shotokan or goju ryu karate kumite where you have to score points?

  • @sillymen911 You can win by points or referee's decision

  • @sillymen911 No. It's knock down rules. But in some cases one can win by points. The aim is to knock out.

  • @sillymen911 you score points by knocking the opponent down or out.half a point if the fighter is ready to fight again within 3 seconds, full point and instant win if he is not. If no points are scored it may go to the judges who can decide based on fight domination, but usually they order extra rounds instead.

Noone counts or cares how many times you hit the opponent, with punches, kicks, elbows or knees -only what effect the hits have.

  • this is Shinkyokushin.

  • these guy would not last in the ufc fight!

  • @CTROCK ask george st piere

  • @CTROCK what!?!?!well im not impress after all..what can i expect from someone who likes rap

  • @1789crazy -music is music there are no such thing is bad or good music is all about the 7 note that creative the style of music! is all up to a person like the style of that music or not ? beside i just don't listen to rap have u see me play the guitar is all ROCK LICKS homie!

  • @CTROCK is shit anyways "homie"..and yes there is bad a good music..if u consider lil wayne a musician then u probably have a squared hear...but this video isnt about music its about karate if u think this dont work in ufc..ask george st pierre ..good luck with the music thing

  • Does anybody know the name of this song ?

    Grateful for answer :)

  • @gashi225 The name of the song is: Jeckyll & Hyde - Freefall

  • The thing they do with their hands when they score a knockdown has to be one of the gayest/poser-y things I've ever seen.

  • @TheGentl3man Well it has a purpose which makes - it would be pointless to take it away.

  • OMG best kyokushin video ive seen for a long time! wish i where there:)

  • Dont they use blocks against kicks and punches in Kyokushin ?? It dosnt look like it ..

  • @LledoDK In Kyokushin you toughen your body so no matter where they hit it's like you blocked. There are blocks but it's not always what you'd expect.

  • Good video, terrible music! OSU

  • kyokushin for ever!!!

  • OSU from Poland ^^ :D

  • good video. OSU form Italy^^

  • @Kingjay144

    on wich planet u are?

  • @Kingjay144 lol we got a comedian right here, folks!

  • @Kingjay144 You know, its not the style, its the fighter. Anyone who explored outside their little world would at least know that. Go trolling on the internet somewhere else Mr. Wing Chun. :)

  • the ufc is boring compared to this

  • @MrChickens whats the hell say? i´m practise karate kyokushin and this isn´t boring

  • @MrChickens You should say mma.

  • @MrChickens

I don't want to be a dick, but most of these guys would not last one round with a fighter from the UFC,they have open guard....

  • @Theiuan2 But maybe UFC fighter won't stand a kyokushin fight

  • @Theiuan2 Because that never happens in the UFC, right?

  • Comment removed

  • @MrChickens UFC is boring compared to masturbating in a closet.

  • these people are very though.... breaking concrete with his nude leg!! i wish he never kicks me

  • @LINKchris87 it's ice not concrete. BTW dont try this at home;)

  • @LINKchris87 Its ice.but still its hard :)

  • @vincentnin1 thanks for the info... :-) but i still think his leg is iron

i wanna try this style. do they have their own katas?

  • 10/10 /nice video and fight on the highest level/

    Osu!

  • OSU!!!!

  • Jeg kunne nok ikke gjort det bedre selv. Kjempe bra.

  • Espetacular karate :D amo treinar karate

  • ossuuu!!!

  • I am in love 4:06

  • If I were going to take an Karate style I'd take Kyokushin. If I had the choice that is. I've taken Shotokan but I wasn't that impressed with it. I preferred Tae Kwon Do to Shotokan. In truth if I could take any one martial art I wanted it'd probably be BJJ, just because it looks like the most fun to me.

  • good movie :P

  • i really think these guys will kick the crap out of ufc fighters

  • yeah... exactly! in boxing techniques and ground fight ;]

  • @catboyx20 nope, not a chance if the kyoku fighter never had any boxing/kickboxing and groiund training.

I train in bjj, kyokushin and kudo. in an mma style fight i would take a pure kyoku fighter to the ground after i closed the distance with head punches which are barely trained and never used in fights.

Tryed it and succeded with guys who eat me alive in kyokushin fights.

  • Donatas Imbras kieciausias

  • OSU ! great video !

  • holly shit that hook kick at 4:03 was superb!

  • wow that guy at 2:04 only looked very young.. these fights would be so tough! any normal human could not handle this!

  • Osu! Great vidd, nice kicks :D

  • *whistles* now that was a good.

  • I don't like that somersault kick move. If you don't KO the guy you're basically left on the ground where could stomp your head in a real fight.

  • yeah you're right

  • LTU best !

  • damn brutal

  • is it allowed to go in clinch ?

  • no

    in kyokushin is not alowed

  • whats the name of the song?

  • I love kyokushin <3

  • with empty hand....

  • seems kinda dumb that you can't hit the fact... just my opinion though..

  • You have a point there but wouldn't say it's kinda dumb. Rather ask the question WHY don't they hit in the face. Face punches was taken out because it would be too easy to damage and knock out your opponent whilst hitting to the face without protection, this leading to fighters going for the face to knock each other out as soon as possible. So then they will not be focusing on using technique and build the skill that they do and it will end up looking a bar fight, like ultimate fighting and mma

  • So professional boxing looks like a barfight? Your logic is flawed.

  • ultimate fighting and mma, ha

  • Not true. Face punches in kyokushin were taken out to prevent damage to the hands. Just watch the first UFC tournaments when they used to fight without gloves. Even experts boxers and karate guys broke their hands punching.

  • actually there are a few reasons face punching was taken out: 1) Easy KO's, 2) The injury rate and drop out was too high, 3) Blood-transfer from fighting bare knuckled., 4) In most countries, especially the Western Nations, bare knuckled boxing is illegal, and so kyokushin would have been illegal in these countries if they had allowed face punching still.

  • That is so true, and kyokushin tournament is a sport not a street fight.

  • This is true, even though I heard they can teach it like a street fight.

  • with kyokushin karate you can hit someone in the face only not directly.

  • OSu!

  • niezłe

  • is it allowed to hit somebody in the face with your knee in this tournament?

when i see things like this i really wanna train and become the best.

  • yes it is

  • OSSUUU

  • Osu!

  • OSU !!!

  • 2:10 thats the real spirit of a fighter after scoring ippon or ko . not to pose for like half a minute .

  • and TKD is a fuickin olympic sport and this isnt!

    ffs world is retarded

  • OSU! Australian Kyokushin trainer here at one of Australia's most traditional and disciplined dojo "Bell Post Dojo - Geelong". Look forward to sparring in the future. -JD

  • OSU!!! fighting Spirit!!!!
