Has anybody noticed that the weak schedule thing doesnt matter...

Boise St. defeated Oklahoma in the FIESTA BOWLa few years ago..

they also have defeated Virginia Tech and Georgia in the last 2 season openers..

TCU defeated Wisconsin in last years ROSE BOWL..

so yeah anybody could beat these big conference teams

Could you imagine what kind of stats Tebow would have if he played against teams Hawaii did??... combined 54-95 record opponents.. 4 of them last place in their conferences.. 4 of them with double digit losses.. 2 of them not even in D1 (including 1 which is not in D1 AND last in their conference).. can't look at Brennan and Tebow and make comparisons unless you start looking at teams they both played. Georgia.. games that both Hawaii and Florida lost

So if you look at that.. Goergia scored pretty much the same number of points against them but the biggest difference is this... Florida scored 30.. Hawaii scored.. 10... Brennan had 0 TDs, Tebow had 3... now that is as fair a comparison as you can get. Brennan was sacked 8 times.. Tebow was sacked 6 times..

Research it. Michigan paid $250k to pull out of an already scheduled season opener at home against UH to play Appalachian State. Trying to fill that slot, USC turned down a financially lucrative deal to play UH at home on ESPN. Texas declined. So it had to be filled by another I-AA team. Sick of hearing the "weak schedule" thing.
