I have bought this game and played it.

I like it's racing style of the game, as for Blur 2; they may want to add more power ups[and maby a better storyline]

Blur= not xbox only, it's also for your pc.

Overall so far I say a 8/10. If you want customization then take another game and don't complain about this one.

Agreed: oranges and apples LOOK and taste different. but they are both fruit and both grow on trees. Comparisons with mariokart are due to the fundamentals of the gameplay. E.G drive over powerups while racing. its an old tired idea that they havent even recycled with any new gimmick! im not saying mariokart is better (but at least it was ORIGINAL + well executed for its time). Blurs USP? Better graphics? MEH!

Dude the original mariokart was an epic game for its time. The fact so many peeps recognise the elemts of it in Blur (and wipieout) are a testament to its quality / evidence that the developers value the formula. Nowadays Mariokart may well appeal to kids. but i doubt the share holders give a shit if they keep raking it in!
