Saying this is Carly's fault is like saying Liz's rape was Lucky's fault because he changed his mind about meeting her at a dance and instead took her sister which led Liz to walk around alone. This story line is recycled no doubt but I think it's just sexist that nobody at all blamed Lucky (except himself), when it's as big a stretch to blame Carly.

I love Mobster Sonny, loved how he said it matters to me because I am going to put a bullet in that SOB head. love how protective he is. I understand how Carly thinks dante is to blame, even though she is wrong but I can understand how she feels.

The blame for Michael's rape lies with his rapist and his rapist alone.

It is NOT Carly's fault Michael was raped. It is all Carter. Amazing how it's always the woman's faut...even when it's not the woman being raped. Now it's Michael's mom's fault instead of his RAPIST'S! Carly is a bad mom, but she was not responsible for his rape in any way.

@neveah45 Of course ultumately it's Carter's fault and if you'd read my post all the way to the end you'd see that I did say that. However, Micheal wouldn't have been in a place with Carter (who only went after Micheal on Anthony Zacchara's orders because of Claudia and Sonny), if Carly hadn't slept her way into being with Sonny.

Just because someone doesn't agree with you does not mean they are obviously not paying attention to the inherent truth of your statement. I believe you are wrong. Carter is the only one responsible. Period. The end. No one can make someone rape someone else.

No Carly! What happened to Micheal is your fault for lying and scheming and trying to make money on your back by being with a rich man who's in the mob. Then he wouldn't have been shot in the head as collateral damage to Sonny on Claudia's orders. Then Sonny wouldn't have gone off on her in the Metrocourt. Then Micheal wouldn't have killed Claudia and gone to jail for it. And he wouldn't have been raped.

I know Carter is the responsible one but it all began with Carly.

@angela1504 OMG someone who actually knows what they're saying. I am so sick of everyone blaming Dante, it's not his fault. The horrible choices that Carly made as a mother is what led to Michael's rape and the ONLY person who made himself accountable for the choices that were made was JASON AND JASON ALONE!!! He stepped up for Michael when he needed someone most not his MANIPULATIVE LYING MOTHER!!! Gawd, even Sonny was willing to go to prison for Michael. I'm so sick of show and these writers!!

@angela1504 Carly didn't let Michael go with Sonny when he got shot, Sonny sent his fiancee to take him without Carly's permission. If he had asked Carly with the relationship they had at that time she would've said no.

@Sw33tEscape20 Technically Michael was old enough to be able to decide legally if he wanted to spend time with his father (he was older than 13). So really even if Carly had had a problem with that, it wouldn't have changed much. And let's face it Carly would've said no not because Sonny is a mobster and his life is dangerous, but because she doesn't like Kate.

@angela1504 Also Carly wasn't seeking for a rich man in the mob to be with, she went to Jason because the two men who could possibly be Michael's father both intended to take Michael away from her the moment she gave birth to him. Her connection to Jason connected her to Sonny and they eventually fell for each other.

@Sw33tEscape20 Carly was absolutely seeking a rich man when she got with Sonny!! She was trying to stick it to Jason by sleeping with his best friend because she saw Jason hugging Liz at Kelly's (and Sonny did it to show Jason she was a tramp). As for why she went to Jason when she got pregnant, she did it 1) to stick it to AJ, 2) she had no other friend, 3) Jason had power b/c he was running the organization (and she had drugged AJ and Tony was fed up with her) and 4) Jason didn't know better.

@Sw33tEscape20 Also, she & Sonny got stuck together because she got pregnant from that one night sticking it to Jason. And when she lost the baby because of a fall that she and Sonny both blamed on AJ, that banded them together for revenge. And so Sonny got Micheal back for her. I won't comment anymore on their "relationship" b/c that was the sickest thing that GH had done since they had Jason cheating on Robin with her. But in my opinion Carly is as much a user when it comes to Jason as Sonny.
