That pawn fork is so common and obvious that I was waiting for the trap to be white somehow making it not work for black... but no, that was it, a beginner's tactic. Yeah, never seen that one buddy. You know notation AND you're quoting GM games? Just who do you think is your audience here if you're billing this as a trap?  This is a fork, an elementary tactic.

I guess it depends how you define "trap." Horowitz and Reinfeld, who wrote "Chess Traps, Pitfalls and Swindles," might have called it a "pitfall" rather than a trap. But whatever you call it, a lot of people fall into it, and not just patzers.

Why do you call it a trap? Is it some novelty in the definitions? There are very many videos on chess traps on youtube, and this is the first one I see that I can't call a trap in any way. To me a trap is a provocation to make a bad move. But here it's totally unforced patzer blunder, no?
