I already posted "Draußen (Out There)" before this vid. I can´t post anymore at the moment because my program for converting movie files doesn´t work anymore..
grad die unterbrechung und der kurze dialog waren dramaturgisch sehr wichtig schade dass sie fehlen!und der chor ob mit oder ohne frauenstimmen klingt gut!
Interesting. At 1:40 (what would be "Protect me, Maria" in English), it transitions into a higher key, which is not in the original. The background chorus also includes female voices, which the original didn't have either, I believe.
das ist kunst

HEEHEHEHEE!!!
That was kinda hot.
I enjoyed that. ^-^
You know, you do look a teeny bit like Drew Sarich. And a little more like Aaron Paul, who also played Quasimodo.

I´d rather be able to sing like Drew than look like him but oh well..^^
Jimsteinman 3 years ago
say is Dre Sarich on that CD as well?
Hasselhoffhater 3 years ago
yep he sings Quasimodo. He´s awesome.
Jimsteinman 3 years ago

Yes that key change and leaving out that interruption by the guard are the changes, which I both like very much.

Are you German? At least you speak it. It also seems they altered the lyrics from the movie German version, yes?
BorisGodunov 4 years ago
I am German. Yes they completely reworked the lyrics for the show (sometimes good, sometimes not so much, a matter of taste I guess)

Thanks for the answers. BTW, my niece wants to marry you. She'll be of age in 14 years. Can you wait? ;)
BorisGodunov 4 years ago
sorry I don´t intend ever to marry^^.
I hope your niece isn´t all too sad now? XD
Tell her I like her anyway ;-)
Jimsteinman 4 years ago
I'll break it to her gently. She still has the guy from Blues Clues as her next choice.
BorisGodunov 4 years ago
I wonder why they don't include the interruption.
Please reply
ebenezerstick 4 years ago
I have no idea why they didn´t. They probably felt that cutting that part makes the song more atmospheric and dramatic (which I think, too btw).

First Jekyll/Hyde, now Hunchback?
I'm subscribing. You're too good at this.
