Interesting stuff like this is why Kevin Sullivan had so much power behind the scenes. This is very funny, and very entertaining at the same time. It is alot better than the stuff TNA and WWE put on these days
As if the various fake Stings, Brian Lee as the Underfaker, the Fake Diesel and Razor, weren't lame enough on their own, they really look like crap compared to Mike Davis's work here.
yeah...Mike Davis was "The Dream". Dusty was suppose to return from Mid Atlantic but the Crocketts offered the booker position to him. This killed Davis' push who was dispatched by just rurned heel Jesse Barr aka Jimmy Jack Funk, Mike Davis would latter make 1/2 of the Rock n Roll RPMs
It's spelled Abudadein. He was a manager in Sullivan's Army of Darkness and allegedly the son of the Chairman of the Board King Curtis Iaukea. Iaukea had a son named Rocky Iaukea who wrestled in Puerto Rico and the Pacific Northwest as Abbuda Dein. The manager was not King Curtis' son, nor was Mike "Prince Iaukea" Haynor of WCW his son.
Man, was Mike Davis one evil looking and sounding Dusty, or what?! I believe Davis also worked in GWF as The Viper, a masked man who announcers tried to pass of as Jake Roberts due to their similar build. Awesome videos!
I wish wrestling in the 80's had the money it does now because angle's like this were so wonderful having grown up on good wrestling i am just plain tired of the stuff they watch today i have tickets to wrestlmania this month to take my son who said he wanted to go thinking when i was a kid my dad took me to see the first Starcade at one of the closed Curcuit venues and wish that was the "sports entertainment" he grew up with maybe we should just go back to calling it "Restling"
The place in Singapore that Sullivan mentions, Bugis Street, was a longtime shopping and tourism destination known for the presence of trans women.

This is when I would rather die than miss seeing CWF on my old black and white tv as a teenager in the mid-1980s.

R.I.P. Mike Davis. This was a great angle. He wrestled as The Dream and got clobbered more than he won.

I actually watched this as a teenager, Championship Wrestling from Florida, I was hooked!

Later in his career, Mike Davis had a gimmick where he did a terrific imitation of Jake The Snake Roberts too.

Yes, in a later angle, Sullivan called Blackjack Mulligan, Blackjack Windam.
