The flute is not too loud...in fact its perfect. You aren't suppose to listen to the message as if you would tv, a song etc...but meditate on what Terence is stating, and when you do this, the flute no longer becomes a distraction but a solution, and the words in which Terence speaks manifest into visions, thus turning speech into picture...in your mind.
