@ZsHouseProductions the sound comes outta your xbox.. not your tv.. so yes. One thing to look out for however is most newer xbox's dont come with the av cables with the optical plugin. (which is needed for digital surround sound output) I use an hdmi cable for my xboxs picture and the special av cable/optical input adaptor for my sound.

yes there is. i did it with my Bose headphones. what you should know though, is that your headphones are stereo, not surround sound. so you wont get all the benefis, hearing behind you/around you etc. but if you still want to, check your tv for a jack, if there isnt you'll be in some trouble. My tv didnt have one,. so what i did was plug in the audio output cables(red,white) to a stereo and from there i connected my headphones.
