I hate to suggest that a great musician like Mr Sample is wrong, but actually Randy's voice and the song worked much better with the mighty Crusaders backing her up. As wonderful as it is, this rendition is more like the 'everyday' jazz you hear in bars and clubs (only they're not as good). There was something amazing about the blend of jazz/funk/soul in the 70s that has been lost here and everywhere else. Still, it's great to see such illustrious musicians in fine form and looking well. Thanks
