  • Wow, meine Fleischmann-Lok, coooool ...

  • Thanks :)

  • Wow how's nice video !! 120 is first inverter locomotive all of the world .may be from 1979 ...also nice inverter sound's thank you .

  • Not sure if they're the first or not, but they were one of the first yeh

  • Nice vid. The frequency inverter noise of class 101 gets incredibly loud at about 180 to 190 km/h or at more than about 200 kN of tractive effort. The howling noise always dins the drivers ears then. That's why class 101 isn't that much favoured by the drivers. Good riddance to it. I don't need to haul heavy freight trains with that loco-type since economical downturn...

  • Fair enough; I know there is/was one freight turn for 101s on the Geislinger Steige but not anything further north?

  • There was a turn from Seelze (Hanover's classfication yard) to Bad Bentheim at night and back. The loco from the last Intercity to Schipol had to run a freight to Seelze, while another loco runs one from there to Bad Bentheim to be there for the first Intercity Amsterdam - Berlin in the morning. But since December the last IC runs from Berlin to Münster and back in the morning. So now there is only one freight from Hamburg to Hanover and back hauled by class 101, and that one runs at night.

  • Oh right...thanks for that!!

  • Nice vid! How many locos did they have on that station!!

  • quite a few - always do!!
