I suggest you take a look at the Lisbon Treaty and the 80 MEP's that protested it.

Regardless if the NAU "were" an EU style of government.. and even if it were all rainbows and flowery meadows Canada is a Soverign Nation and it must stay that way. We don't need a new constitution handed to us. We need to defend the one we already have in this sea of tyrants.
Our politicians don't go around saying they wan't a North American Union! We all know that's not going to fetch any votes. But what they are doing is integrating our laws and standards with those of the United States & Mexico. Regardless of what you wan't to call it, after deep integration it won't be the Canada that I grew up in. Sure you can call it Canada but what's in a name. Paul Martin just finished telling Canadians that they would have to give up soverignty to make the world work.
Really now? Could you back that up with fact? Because I can back up my info with fact. Not opinion. Please, feel free to enlighten me, I have no problem with being proven wrong :) Cheers to ya!
All I can do is defeat your evidence. The fact that none of the leaders actually have discussed the NAU, that no one in power has proposed the Amero (which would be a good thing anyway) and that a North American Union would be more akin to the EU which isn't a totalitarian regime at all.
How are you going to defeat evidence that the government and the NGO's have actually written and made available to the public? That would mean you know more than the government.
Lets look at a document titled: Creating A North American Community
Now this is just one document, and theres lots more where that came from! If you are going to try and defeat the evidence you are going to be a very busy person.. This should be interesting.
Yes you are correct, NGO stands for non-government organization. But you are not correct in saying "Anything they say has nothing to do with what a government will do" The SPP for example relied heavily on NGO's such as the CFR (USA) and the CCCE (Canada) and co-wrote the framework with the government. Look at the document I told you to look at "Creating A North American Community" Notice The Names Paul Manley & Thomas d'Aquino. Then look at for example Ontario Bill 85- notice any similarities?
Like I mentioned, this is only ONE document, I mentioned this just to kick things off. But you are also wrong here as well. Look in that document at the "six key recommendations" #2) Immediately create a unified North American Border Action Plan. Governments reaction, research "Smart Border Action Plan" In fact, it's on the Canadian governments website right now! Also,
May 27 2009, Perter Van Loan announces American Officials allowed to police on Canadian soil. Also see Ontario Bill 85 Now LAW!
Here is what key recommendation #2 goes on to say:
• Harmonization of entry screening and tracking procedures for people, goods, and vessels (including integration of name-based and biometric watch lists);
• Harmonization of exit and export-tracking procedures;
Bill 85, now law and came into effect June 1st, 2009. It states the new drivers licence will use biometric and rfid technology and data will be collected and shared. Peter Van Loan on May 27 also announded integrated border.
"The three countries should develop a secure North American Border Pass with biometric identifiers. This document would allow its bearers expedited passage through customs, immigration, and airport security throughout the region"
Again the new Drivers licence contains citizenship information, biometric identifiers and if you want their idea of "expedited passage" you can research the NEXUS program for Canadians.
I think you better take a harder look at this issue. You may hate Harper but it wasn't just the PC party that got us into this. It was the liberal party that helped launch the SPP. Paul Martin was right there selling Canadians out to corporate interests. Which Corporate interests? American! Look at where Canada is getting most of it's new business growth US Companies, Canadian companies are closing down left right and center. When government needs advice from business, who are they talking with.
I am fucking talking about the deep integration of Canada, the United States And Mexico. There is No NAU at the moment. It is what they are working towards through incrementalism.
For example: May 27/09 Americans Allowed to police on Canadian Soil
Another Example would be Our New Harmonized ID system that takes effect TODAY June 1st 2009 To comply with WHTI an American Law! They have been working toward this before 1995. Look at an E.U timeline then look at how our 3 countries are integrating
Now your making fun of retarded people? I thought you said above that "All I can do is defeat your evidence" I'm still waiting. By calling people retarded, I hardly see that as defeating evidence, I see this as an easy way out for you.. resort to name calling.. yeah, I remember doing that in like grade 7 or something.
It's quite obvious to me you are way out of your league here. You obviously have no idea what your talking about. Maybe it's time to get out of your moms basement and open your fucking eyes douchebag!
Maybe she's not giving you reasons, but I'll give you two reasons why I agree with her (it'll be given in two comments)
1) 85% of our exports go to the United States, meaning that if the United States dollar can't buy as much and America is poorer as a result, Canada's exporting power is compromised, drastically worsening our economy and our dollar as a result of the inflation needed as a result of less capital (through making the money for stimulus packages and such, like what's happening now)
2) Canada's economy is essentially based on commodities, for example, as oil dropped over the past few months, the Canadian Dollar tanked as well (going from about $120 a barrel to $50 and the CAN Dollar trading at par to about 73 cents US). 76% of our imports come from America, most of which are commodities that were made in China, the Middle East and other Third World nations. The whole cycle is described really well in a 20 minute movie I saw called "The Story of Stuff". Need I say more?
Where do you get that I say to hide under your bed? I said educate yourself. To many Canadians have now idea what the hell is going on in the world. I am sick of it. This video was simply ment to peak someones interest enough to look into some issues
The election reform was never intended to apply to minority governments and the global economic crisis is not the PMs fault (I know we'd all like to blame someone). The North American Union is unstoppable because we've been asleep at the switch. Big oil, big pharm. et al. are calling the shots now, not our puny little governments. By all means "de-throne" the Conservatives but don't expect any real change. Protect youself by avoiding debt. Cherish your loved ones and good luck to us all.Peace.

The EU ELECTIONS are not democratic : In a real democracy every vote has the same weight.
38,000 votes are needed in Luxemburg to chose an MEP. Thats 16 times more political clout than a German voter where 628,000 are needed !
2.Europeans were never asked if they wanted an EU parliament & an un-elected legislative.
3.Most Europeans (in recent polls) do NOT WANT the EU to be given more power.
4.Why plan for a European army unless the EU is to become an `Empire
